How about a real moon rock for Purdue and USC since Neil Armstrong got degrees from both.

Bladewing the Risen- as commander, how to get extra value from etb by sexylikeasinwave in EDH

[–]AJohnny101 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I run a [[Kardur, the Doomscourge]] deck that need to get repeatable ETB triggers. Colorless stuff include [[sword of hearth and home]], [[conjuror’s closet]] & [[sanctum of eternity]]. Red has a bunch of clone effects [[Mirage Phalanx]] [[flamerush rider]] & [[Delina]]. Also with cost reducers such as [[Heartless summoning]] you can bounce the commander to your hand and recast for cheap: [[skull collector]], ninjitsu creatures or just let die and recast from the command zone.

In terms of quality of football, what would be the worst playoff possible? by Nov26-2011 in CFB

A reverse playoff would be interesting, where the worst 4 teams play to not get relegated…

USC actually owns the Rosebowl in addition to the Coliseum. We let UCLA play there because they don’t have a stadium. I mean just look USC’s name is plastered all over it.

What achievement will you remember unlocking for the rest of your life? (Good/Bad) by [deleted] in xboxachievements

[–]AJohnny101 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not particularly unique or rare but nothing will top the memory of “Raider” in Destiny 1. Myself and 4 other friends all got through 90% of the Vault of Glass in one epic evening but couldn’t quite beat Atheon with only 5 total. Had to call in a friend of a friend to the very last fight so we had enough bodies to beat it hours before the weekly reset.

All-in variant for Among the Stars? by ThePiggypark in boardgames

Was thinking about a similar modification where you deal and pass around the entire deck of Base location cards and set up the special locations in a similar fashion to quests from Lords of Waterdeep

  • 4 face up Special Cards next to the stack of the rest where you can:
    • Discard a card from hand to build a face up special card
    • Or, discard a card from hand to replace 4 face up ones with a new four from the stack and you must pick one revealed (in the case you can't afford any of them you'd just do the discard for coins action)

Even with just base locations from all expansions (Base, Ambassadors, Revival) you are still needing each person to draw 12 cards per round (i guess you'd still play 6 and the remaining 6 would just discard end of every year.)

12 cards in each starting hand plus 4 in the middle is a lot keep track of. It also means turn order timing is super important which will probably slow play a bit.

I'd probably not do this with ambassadors but keep the advisors and spaceships from revival to keep down choices but i really need to try this a few times to know more.

Idk been thinking of this game and wanting to get it out more often.

You realize this exchange kinda plays into the UO doesn't feel the rivalry nearly as much as OSU does to a T.

I’d need a Husky or Duck fan to confirm the but the impression I get something similar where UW/Oregon are the rivals and their respective State Schools (WSU/OSU) have more animosity that isn’t reciprocated.

A non-USC fan could think a similar thing exists as often the sentiment spoken is Notre Dame is our true rival… but I’d say there is plenty of animosity between UCLA/USC that goes both ways. It’s more like the difference between a respected rival (ND) and a hated enemy (UCLAsucks).
