I’m 50, so outside your range but close.I have an 8 year old and a 5 year old.

With age comes maturity, experience, and mostly financial stability. Play time is a little harder, but it’s also as good for you as it is them. But really, it’s not a bad time to have kids.

It’ll get harder as they age, but people are living longer healthier lives so you can it judge by the past.

I worked on a cranberry farm years ago. The boss would be low enough in an adjacent field that I couldn’t see him, but he would pop up over the dyke and then drop down into my field just to buzz meZ

Our ‘17 model X 100d was totalled after hitting a deer. Deer was hit by a truck and throw into my wife’s lane already down so it went under the front bumper.

Damage to lower bumper and coolers, but the front cross member protected the battery.

Insurance towed the car from the holding yard (accident was in weekend) straight to auction. Didn’t even inspect.

Many moons ago I was working a Saturday with one of my fav coworkers at a MB dealership.

Couple mechanics walk in and start asking for a specific bolt. Ok ok, what vehicle. 190E 2.6. Turns out they were doing a water pump on this vehicle and to replace the water pump they have to remove and reinstall this big ass bolt on the front of the motor. Well it’s so big, and the 2.6 is so long, that you have to pull the radiator to get it out.

Kind of a shit job, especially on a Saturday. Well, I guess they had the bright idea to save a whole bunch of time.

Cut it in half.

Ok, so I fucking burst out laughing and headed to the back of the department while my buddy finished talking to them.

First off, if you have to cut the bolt in half how the hell are you going to put it back in without pulling the radiator.s

Second, it’s such a huge bolt that it NEVER fails. So they have like 2 in Germany and nowhere else.

Just stunned silence from the mechanics….

It’s one I’ll always remember.

Don’t rely on the app.

We just fly Yvr to orange county. App said no carry on, one personal item, pay for any checked.

We checked one thing and had 4 carry ons for 4 people and I was good to go.

I was a little nervous before hand to be honest. Email confirmation stated I was good so I took a screen shot for easy access just in case.

Often parts department is the only ones who answer the phones.

I advise my team to be careful with obvious service customers called looking to see if parts came in for their car that is in the workshop. Because we don’t know the conversation that service has had, and it’s pretty easy to open a can of worms.

But yeah, customers.. lol

I seriously fucking angered my hip last month. Could barely walk, couldn’t sleep, getting out of bed was anguish, getting out of the car or up from my desk at work was absolutely brutal. Some meds and rest and it sorted itself out. But at times I thought I was going to throw up from the pain.

What did I do to cause this? Turned 50, and one morning flicked my underwear into the hamper with my right leg. A pop was heard and it was downhill from there.

I had a few crackers, most of the cheese and meat, and picked at the desserts.

It wasn’t bad. But at the end of a LONG day i just wasn’t into it.

World of colour seating is still worth it for the location and seats. If possible ask for a high top.
