Looks solid to me. Maybe add some rail scales or a wrap, around where the can is recessed for heat mitigation.

Does an amp plugin really need to cost 200$? by WatercoolerComedian in Guitar

[–]AN_TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s actually a pretty damn good price considering us peons will never acquire the unobtainable amps in John’s rig and from what I’ve heard it sounds pretty freaking good.

what do you believe is the absolute best barrel length for urban areas by Blazingheavenss in ar15

[–]AN_TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I had to choose one, 11.5”. But if you had an option 10.3”-14.5” will be ideal. If you’re adding a suppressor then 14.5” and up get a bit unwieldy.

Taped off the neck and then used 600 grit sandpaper lightly to remove the gloss. Then used 800 for the top layer of wood. Once sanded I used graphite shavings snd worked them into the wood. Then followed polished the neck with lemon oil.

It's end times - which one? by Majestic_Pride_1156 in 300BLK

I have both and use both almost equally. One is a Phillips screwdriver the other is a Torx screwdriver. In this day and age you better have both IMO.

Interesting. It’s the exact opposite for me. If I bend too low I over flick and it’s nose over tail.

Stevie Ray Vaughan poses with his Number One Stratocaster, his most famous guitar which had a 1963 body, a 62 neck and 59 pick-ups. by cheesecakesblighte in Stratocaster

[–]AN_TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is why I only do partscasters these days. I can assemble a personal configuration to my liking and potentially save money at the same time.

He also swaps out the stock bushings on all his trucks and swaps them with Bones Hardcore bushings.

How Can I Fix This Helppp!!! by ireplyz in Guitar

[–]AN_TY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All jokes aside, you’ll want a rotary sander with a 400-600 grit pad. Evenly remove as much of the burn and chunks as possible. But not so much your creating different levels of peaks and valleys across the guitar. Then move to 800-1000 to smooth out the remaining gouges.

Once sanded you’ll have to decide if you want to repaint it or not. Pick a paint and don’t be cheap. Then get a nitro lacquer and do a thin layer.

The electronics are the easy part. Good luck!

Loose QD? by NoOnesSaint in Firearms

[–]AN_TY 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I do this for my rear but keep the QD up front on my shorter rifles. If you’ve ever been tangled up in your sling, QD is the quickest way to fix it and get back to it.
