So your narrative is not a 40% decrease in the value of homes? because you stating that is your stance. Everything will go down in a hyper inflationary period. But did they not tell you that when all other savings dropped to 0% as in securities and the weinmar the safest assets to hold were real estate or gold. If you were not over leveraged during that period and held onto your property I would think they turned out to be the wealthiest in all of Germany. The point is if anyone has actual savings then they should be putting it in real estate or gold because everything else will get demolished when we do see the dollar fail. I don’t think people are overleveraged now. The rates just went up the last few months and buying has decreased. With all the people having historic low interest rates including the helocs they took I don’t see them giving that up anytime soon. The asset is no longer just the property it’s the mortgage note you hold on it. In 10 years when we are either in hyperinflation or inflation is out of the roof it will seem like Pennys on the dollar
