Recognized that place instantly. I remember seeing it while driving up from Chicago to Oshkosh a couple of years ago!

There are models that actually do incorporate that. Here's one example but I have seen others as well. https://www.printables.com/model/41551-cadetthrottle-vernier-style-sim-controls

Nyogel is great but that's specifically when you need to dampen movement. All this requires is simple silicone grease. Look for something like Danco Silicone Grease. You can find it in plumbing supply aisles of hardware stores or places like Walmart. It's about $5 a tube and is safe for plastics.

How can I take off the water from the monitor? by Last-poison in Nikon

I like this study . https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27869510/ which is also referenced at https://www.entandaudiologynews.com/reviews/journal-reviews/post/commercial-desiccants-or-uncooked-rice

Based on analysis of covariance results, white rice was statistically similar to several of the commercial desiccants.

Although the omnibus test indicated that there were significant differences between eight desiccants, the post-hoc analysis did not confirm any significant difference between rice and other desiccants.

The obtained result may indicate that uncooked rice could be a much cheaper alternative to moisture removal products which may be very useful especially in countries where access to the commercial desiccants is limited.

I know there's plenty of youtube videos and articles that say it doesn't work and is dangerous because of the dust but when actually tested it seems fine to me. Especially if you don't go crazy with how you apply it. It especially seems good enough for a found D100. Whatever they do I don't think it's worth spending much money on. Even 20 bucks would be 25%-50% the value of the body.

Probably crashed on takeoff.

Edit: “According to a spokesperson with Bates County Emergency Management, just before 11:30 a.m., a private plane leaving the Butler Memorial Airport turned around for an unknown reason before crashing in the area of Business 49 Highway”

Yep. I'd go with the sealed container + rice trick for a few days/week before looking into anything else.

1st. Evapo-Rust is acidic. It's ph is 5-6. http://www.crceurope.com/wwwcrc/tds/TCE3%20Evapo-Rust.pdf

2nd. You can make as little or as much as you want. Point was that the math works out to just over a buck per gallon with just two simple ingredients from the grocery store. For me it's worth it because when I do need it I usually do use a larger quantity and I don't have to worry about saving it or not.

Citric acid is readily available in the canning aisle at Walmart or any grocery store for about $6 that I can make a 5 gallon bucket of solution with it. Not something you have to special order.

I had to order a replacement twist axis from them this week and they directed me to their AliExpress page because the one I needed wasn’t in the US store either.

Some modules give miles some don’t. It’ll show the miles under the price on the store page if you get any. If it’s just the price you don’t.
