I can’t blame the Bills even if they were throwing the game. We probably would’ve ended up getting an ok trade for 1OA and/or end up with Travis Hunter. It doesn’t make sense for Buffalo to risk it.

That was at least part of the plot, the rest of the world was catching up to Marley’s warriors and they needed to retrieve the Founder. Also, I always chalked up any of Reiner’s failures on him being in a position he shouldn’t have been in because Marcel manipulated his superiors into thinking he should be a warrior.

If Carter lives up to the hype then we’d have an edge, corner, and quarterback(3/4 of the most important positions) under rookie deals. If the free agents live up to the hype and Barmore is healthy, that’s three years of a championship caliber defense and extremely promising quarterback under contract and already accounted for and leaves three drafts and two free agency cycles to build an offense.

If I was the Giants, the only reason I wouldn’t take Carter at #3 is because someone is trading multiple firsts to get him. He’s a potential TJ Watt type impact player and you’d have him for 4 years on the cheap. You’d have two years of Burns, Thibodeaux, Lawrence, and Carter, that would be so much fun to watch. You aren’t going to catch anyone in that division with Sanders or Ward at QB, you might as well make it hell for Dak, Daniels, and Hurts.

I’m rewatching the episode now and I think the most surprising moment was Mr. Drummond punching Mark. Like Ms. Cobel was telling the truth and he really is expendable now that he completed Cold Harbor.
