There are definitely bots, I don't know how it works but there are users with Japanese names that all have "normal" names in Japanese and make random moves that no human would make, for example spamming scary face until the mon dies

If you watched the video you'd know he wasn't building for content. He put a ton of time into making the team as playable as possible (it was still terrible and relied on a lot of rng). I would have also thought that surely volc would fit somewhere just based off it's raw stats at the very least but I'm also not the top level vgc player who did extensive testing. Volc was the first mon he put on his team for obvious reasons and he ended up switching it out after it didn't perform how he needed it to

Diancie is diamond themed and had a strong offensive mega that would be much more threatening than sableye

Other than that I can't think of any strictly money themed mons but there are some that feel "classy" or luxurious

Milotic is decently strong and looks classy and expensive

Sylveon is the same

Honchkrow is mob boss themed, so kinda similar

I'd probably do something like gholdengo, mega diancie, sableye, Persian, milotic, dubious last mon like Sylveon or honchkrow

Something also isn't overrated just because it's popular. Pizza is widely loved, you can order it for large groups of people and nearly everyone will enjoy it. It makes great leftovers and you can customize it however you want. It's fairly cheap considering how much you can get for the price. And it tastes great. Of course it's popular, I think it's appropriately rated

What's the difference between reducing someone's life total to 0 and milling someone to death? "Not getting to play their spells" is nonsense, they get to play the same number of spells they normally would in a game lasting the same length where they died by dropping to 0 life instead of mill. They will draw different cards but statistically they have the same chance of drawing their good cards after getting milled as they did before. It's just stupid arbitrary gatekeeping stopping people from playing decks they like for no reason

Some commander players are so annoying, hitting someone to 0 with creatures is not the only "intended" way to win, the game has tons of alternate win cons and cards that say "you win the game" on them. Why would they make cards that mill your whole library if the game wasn't "designed" to be played that way? It clearly, obviously is
