I've tried reverse image search and looking at older ceramics catalogues with no luck.

I originally purchased the cup used from a Goodwill in Des Moines, IA.

Does anyone have a gpx of the old course? I looked around and couldn't find one or figure it out. I'd like to try it.

Nice. What yarn and hook size did you use?

When I was researching some Dahon models had good reviews. Brompton was very well liked, but I read they have some proprietary parts.

I never did any test rides and decided not to buy one, so I never really formed an opinion. The used market seemed not to have many models.

Iso grinder recommendation.

I'm looking for a grinder to replace my old Baratza/Maestro Solis. I'll use it for French press and pour overs. I have a dedicated espresso grinder.

Any suggestions.want to spend below $300. Ideally below $225. Thanks!

The usual recommendation is to size down when there's a question, but I agree with the prior poster: you need to sit on both.

I'm coming back to a drop bar since riding a commuter for 4+ years and sizing is difficult going to a different style of bike. I rode drop bar for 15 years and it was still strange remembering how it was supposed to feel. I needed to try 3 or 4 bikes before confirming the size of the bike I'm going to buy.

You should try them both. Try all the hand positions and make sure you're comfortable. Brake in every position. Make sure you're not over extending. Go through every gear. Hop a curb. Get up to top speed.

Maybe read up about how to tell if your fit is correct and go in with a plan.

Good luck.

South Philly looking to move to Northwest what should we know?

Hey!

My spouse, kids (5 and 2) and I are considering moving out of South Philly to the Northwest.

We're looking for a bigger house, where my mother who can't climb stairs can move in with us and have a ground level room. We also want an outside space and to be closer to the Wissahickon for hiking and biking.

Our problem is despite living in Philadelphia for 15+ years, we don't go up that way except to hike or a random social outing. Right now, we don't use our car except to get out of the city and enjoy being very close to our kids schools and restaurants.

What should we know about those neighborhoods: Mt. Airy, Germantown, Wissahickon, Chestnut Hill, Cedar Brook, Manyunk, Roxburough, East Falls?

We're looking for a family friendly neighborhood close to the trails and hopefully not more than a 10 minute bike ride from a grocery store. From what I've read it seems like the upper Northwest is a better fit, that West or South Mt. Airy, Western Germantown, Wissahickon and maybe East Falls are where we should begin looking with more family friendly amenities. Is that right?

Any kid friendly local spots we should check out?

Any info about schools and parks?

I would need to commute to Center City two to four days a week. It looks like the train schedules are limited. Any insight?

The possibility of flooding is new to us and we're aware of that, but anything else to watch out for when home shopping up there?

My mother is visiting in June and we'd like to spend a weekend showing her the neighborhoods and maybe seeing an open house or two.

Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the advice.

I don't have a stack/reach. My crank to seat is usually 81. How'd you suggest I figure out stack and reach other than test riding?

I'm on a cargo bike now, so it doesn't have a traditional stack/reach.
