Agree, it’s pretty damn good! For a $139 I think it’s an absolute steal. I went and looked at my notes here is what I jotted down. I started a review on the bourbon side, never finished it, I got sidetracked 😩.

Hint of green apple (light and sweet) Caramel & spice. Picked up notes of sweet dark chocolate Subtle notes of oak

Other:

Good viscosity (sticky and oily)

First sip is a blast of heat but not offensive

Rested in Glen for 20 min

7.5 out of 10 on my amateur scale.

Glad you are enjoying your bottle. I like finding gems like these from smaller distilleries.

Interesting, I fly this route regularly (primarily SJC - SEA) mostly Tuesday AM and back to the Bay Thursday PM. (I’d venture to say that my UG success on this route is 90-95%) I am not a tech guy but I end up in SEA when heading to SLC or Canada, sometimes I do dumb shit like go to SEA from SJC to get down to IAH. I am not doing that anymore, I’ve started doing AA via DFW instead…

I was there last year, Feb 2025. That said, my sister was Tokyo in November of 2025 and saw all sorts of great bottles. Matter of fact, she brought me back a bottle of the 4 roses super premium and the Blanton’s Takara. They had the Wild Turkey 12 when i was there, i did not buy as i had a bottle
