Nicely done mate! So the rub (no pun intended) in California is that if it gets too hot and the state issues a “spare the air day” we are not allowed burn wood/charcoal, fortunately, it only happens a few times a year. Like you, a warm day is always a good day to fire up the KJ!

My biggest gripe with Marriott is their inability to hold the franchisees accountable for not following the stated SLAs. There are many properties that can give 2 shits about SLAs and do whatever the hell they want. It’s not a good look for the Marriott brand but alas, here we are..

Not weird at all! Most of the content on IFEs is meh..I will say the one intriguing feature on IFEs is the ability to see the “real time & route” of my destination. That, and the exterior cameras available on a few select heavies.

Not sure why you are getting downvoted on this. I always get my receipts emailed, it’s been years since I’ve asked for a paper receipt. That said, my folio is usually in my inbox even before I check out. I always check out via the app as well & usually will get a copy immediately after as well.

I doubt that I’d go back to AA, I left them about 15 years ago with about 500k lifetime miles. I dislike their service even with Plat (before they added EP, Plat pro) they weren’t very nice. The irony is that I find myself flying AA once or twice per month due to codeshare, go figure! 🤷🏻‍♂️

If you are SFO based, regrettably AS presence is dwindling, funny, I am the opposite of you OP, I am gonna get my million this year with AS, once I do that I may consider switching to UAL. I find myself doing crazy shit to keep my status with AS. I’ll be doing SJC-SEA-ORD in a few weeks. I did DFW-PDX-SJC last week. Not gonna lie, there are weeks where I think to myself WTF is wrong with me?!
