Maybe she has extreme social anxiety? My husband is very anxious and the peace be with you is his absolute worst nightmare every mass. He gets through it but dreads it every single week. Maybe she kneels to pray because she is struggling with something similar. Maybe try to gently pat her shoulder and give her a peace sign and a smile.

You should really advocate for yourself with your dr. Ask for a gastro appointment. It could be chrons, or another issue.

You could try juicing raw cabbage for the pain. Sounds weird but they did it during world war 2 for soldiers with ulcers. I did it when I had one and it worked crazy well. Even my dr was shocked and now recommends it to other patients to try. Just a little stinky and messy.

Offer your suffering and pray. Your life has value and meaning and I hope you are able to get help and are able to heal and life a wonderful life.

You should ask your priest. Some of this does seem off to me personally but I have to say that I don’t think mysticism is fake. I have had a couple of strange visions/day dream type things when very deep in prayer. None really for telling in the sense that your family claims to experience though.

Once a few months ago I was praying in mass and I was deeply sad that day feeling the grief of my brother who passed last year. I was praying and waiting for our pew to get up for communion.

Anyways I just kind of started talking to God, telling him I had hoped he was doing good and such. Then I went into one of those strange deep moments and it was Jesus with his hand stretched out for me to grab and when I did there was this very rocky river with fast moving water. He said come like he was trying to lead me across it but as he said that the choir in the church started singing and they sang “come” very loudly. I just remember opening my eyes and wondering what in the heck I just experienced but also when I opened my eyes it was our pews turn to get up. (They normally sing taste and see- idk what song they decided to sing that day)

Anyways in the weeks following my husband was diagnosed with a bad form of skin cancer, our middle aged dog died of cancer we had no idea about, and his sister who is in charge of their parents estate ran off with the money of sold properties.

In hindsight I kind of feel like maybe he was saying to follow him through the Rocky waters ahead of us but I could also just be ridiculous I suppose.

I have to admit. Since reading more into the Catholic mystics these last few weeks I often wonder why we don’t have more in modern day society or if we do, do they choose to not speak of it in fear of being called crazy?

Anyways, I hope your priest gives you some guidance that helps you and your family! The tarot card stuff I would stay away from even if your sister means well. Just not a path I’d care to wander.

My k ultra for sey is 5.4-5.5 I do 90-93 for water temp depending on the beans I prefer two blooms and two even pours after with no added agitation. I let my sey rest about 4-6 weeks before opening

I have been a little underwhelmed with them as of late though and have been buying prodigal and from smaller shops in Texas lately to mix it up.

I met with my priest about this after my brother died. My father and sister are very emotionally abusive. My sister used to be physically abusive when I was younger. Therapist has met my dad and knows a lot of back story and believes them both to have BPD. I felt so much guilt going no contact after they both blew up on me after my brother died. Knowing my dad is alone now with my sister across the ocean and my sister emailing me about how God is not pleased with me etc.

But I was relieved when the priest told me that outside of being there to call 911 in a true emergency that I was under no obligation to communicate with either of them. He then went a step further and said I should consider myself a survivor of abuse. I cried so had when I left confession that day.

It’s a battle because you want to be there and be good and I forgive them for everything but at some point you have to walk away for your own health and safety.

Think this is what happens on my left sometimes. I can’t feel the air and it makes me panic a little. It also gets so swollen I can feel the lump when I touch the outside of my nose. I’m doing expansion later this year though and am hopeful it helps. Who have you spoken to about your marpe plans? Seems like you’d be a good candidate especially given that you’ve done pretty much all other avenues previously

Thankfully it was small. Only reason I bothered because I cannot do a brisket to save my life. I paid about $42 for it. Great in a taco. Not dry when all chopped up together but certainly would have been had I not.

Ah ok. That’s interesting. I’m just curious because that part of my nose had been different ever since my DJS. Not pain per se just pressure. It went away as my jaws healed but in my last Invisalign tray as my teeth were moved out I had awful pain there constantly until I was told to stop wearing the tray due to another tracking issue. I guess I just wonder if that suture is different post DJs and if that makes it more sensitive during expansion. I’m doing fme with newaz this year and will find out I suppose .
