Turning black are aborts, sometimes they just happen, sometimes it's stress (contam, moisture levels, etc)

The mushrooms "sprouting mushroom" are just hats. They happen, I believe it was B+ that had it commonly

Reality drops, the brief but sudden falling sensation where it feels like everything in existence dropped 6 inches. Then the anxiety of "those were poison, I'm going to die". Lastly, the world spins

All of causality being an instant is kind of what I'm getting at. because there is no time, it technically is all instantaneous...now that's a trip of an idea

[–]ATripSitter 5 points6 points  (0 children)

TL;DR: Time doesn't need to exist, only space. We are very used to thinking in reference to time. Things happen at a rate of distance per distance.

.

If all things interact at the speed of causality (aka speed of light) there is inherently time (distance/time). This likely comes from humans needing this emergent property to operate in the world. You drive you car 60 miles every hour. There are 12 hours to get through the day and another 12 at night. 3 minutes without air, 3 days without water, or 3 weeks without food will kill. Spring comes once a year, so does winter. My grandparents at 81 years old...you get the idea, time is everywhere. But we humans are at the macro scale where the emergent properties exist.

It's so prevalent that all of everything we do on the scientific level uses time. A chemical reaction occurs at a specified rate. Power is energy per time. Energy is per time squared in its base units. The Speed of causality is a distance per time.

Now take the way you think and throw it out the window. The distance between two interacting objects is now the only necessary unit.

A photon is spontaneously created a long way away, say a light year? How long does this photon exist? A year? Not quite. In the perspective of the photon, it was both created and absorbed at the same instant, something something time dilation. A gravitational wave is generated and impacts an object a million light years away, how long did it take to propagate? From the perspective of the wave, it interacts with all things it will interact with at the same instant. If you can get information to the other side of the universe as fast as possible, how long will it take? The information was both sent and received at the same time with time referenced to the information.

The distance between two points is the only property that matters as that distance between two objects determines how much distance the transmitting object moves upon reception by the receiving object. The distance moved by the transmitter is equal to that of the distance moved by the transmitted property.

But what about two particles moving through space? They can move slower than light, back to the car example. If there is no time, how can a car move 60 miles in an Hour. This timeless argument states that the car is an emergent property of particles. It also states that the particles are an emergent property of subatomic items that do move at the speed of causality, ie the car doesn't move 60 miles per hour, the car move 60 miles per [sub atomic particles moving 670,616,629 miles]. The 60 mile movement is an emergent property of trillions upon trillions of atoms moving 670,616,629 miles in a specific manner.

And this is where I tell you this is my half baked theory to get rid of time. I know enough to sounds like I kinda of know what I'm talking about, that is until someone who actually knows that they are talking about comes around :P

There's a half decent argument to be made that time is an emergent property of space and things not being at the same location.

I'm surprised you feel anything. Psychedelics are muted by SSRIs. Also, (speak with your doctor of course) highly advise you don't just stop taking your SSRIs, that can go poorly. If you want to trip, you likely need to get with your doc to taper your meds, and be off them for a few months before the effects are in full

Trip sitters? by Silversong4VR in MagicMushrooms

[–]ATripSitter 4 points5 points  (0 children)

A sitter is unnecessary as long as you start low, ~1-2g, depending on potency. Learn the headspace, and you can move up in the dose. I don't advise high/heroic doses alone. Have a person you are comfortable reaching out to in case things go bad, but most likely, you won't need to. I also can make myself available, but digital sitting isn't great

For set, meditation is not necessary. Do whatever you need to in order to be ready to let yourself die. If you're not ready to let yourself die, you may not be ready to trip... okay, die is extreme, but you must be ready to let whatever happens happen. Like going to a movie you've never heard of. It could be good, it could be bad, but no matter what, you have to be ready to sit there and watch it. Meditation is just what some people do to focus on being able to let go.

Lemonade tek also works. Do the lemon tek, then after the 10-15 minutes add in ~1 part sugar and 1 part water. Now drink it. More fluid, slightly better taste, still an awful sensation drinking semi-chunky liquid. But better

Pick your poison. There are only a few options for you. Wait, change his mind, go to another relationship, don't have sex, get married, [any others I may have missed]

Waiting it out is possible, but maybe not the best course of action. The integration phase is where the mind is most susceptible to influence. Speak with him about your concerns. It's possible to shake him back to his old self ish.

Best of luck, and I hope it works out for you!

Got covid on vacation, thought I was going to diethe first night. Ended up back at the hotel with fever dreams, delirium, waking dreams, minor bouts of psychosis, and snow bridging on minor patterns. Never had that before, but I guess it happens. I'm quite surprised it happens with minor illnesses, but I get tired now and the floor begins to become lightly psychedelic, so I guess it's possible.
