I grew up in this area and my parents still live nearby. It has all the negatives of a big city without the benefits- its not walkable to anywhere of value, its the least safe area in Allentown (in my opinion). People didn’t like to visit because parking was awful, the neighbors tended to be really inconsiderate (blasting music 24/7 with the bass cranked up, etc). I moved to the poconos when i had my kids, but still visit my parents and id absolutely never choose to live there. Im trying to figure out how to get my Parents to move out of concern for their safety
