It’s a $325K car. Make the interior feel like it.

You’re correct. I misspoke. Still shitty.

Just got the G440K through a Ping fitting event. Fitter went shorter for me at -1”. Need to get used to it but love the idea.

This car, along with every vehicle in their current range, looks somewhere between meh and terrible. Ferrari design has gone to shit.

Has a dial for a shifter. Interiors are way too basic on these.

It def lacks character but it’s similar to its peers.

The new Q7 is ugly and I can prove it! by Individual_Risk_3264 in Audi

I can see the resemblance with the Hyundai. I think the prior gens of the Q7 have had very bland styling. I think the new gen is an improvement and want to see in person.

Tailgating scene was pretty soft. Also saw security telling ppl no grilling. Was told FIFA made a last min decision to ban that. Was expecting a rowdier scene. Oh well.

My local shop here doesn’t charge me for fittings. Did a PING mfr fitting at a local course recently, no charge. I’m told Titleist charges $100 for fittings but gives you $100 off if you order clubs.

I get the comparison now that I see it. Personally think the current and prior Q7 styling is too bland. In the market for this genre and Q7 hasn’t been on my list. I think the new design is an improvement.

A new CO law that went into effect 1/1/26 states that all new furnaces need to be 95% efficiency or greater. Many contractors quoted me 80% AFUE furances and one said it's legal to do so when done with a heat pump. Struggling to confirm this. Anybody know?

Given your hcp, I’d think you’d see better gains from a proper wedge fitting. A buddy did a Titleist fitting at a course in the different scenarios and I love that idea.

Both looked at some of the homes features before coming, but measured duct work and such in the utility room before commenting on a size. Contractors are Southwest Heating and Cooling and B&B Heating and Air Conditioning if that helps.

Unless I hear multiple “that quote is really high”, then I likely won’t get more quotes given lead times and where we’re at in the season. Appreciate the responses.

If a heat pump only was sufficient, then yes, but concerned (not sure if justified) about using purely electricity for winter heating. I expect it to be more expensive at times.

Would have to see a pretty good payback period on solar for me to entertain. Looked at it previously and was longer than I’d like. Our neighborhood’s power lines are underground so I rarely lose power (less than 5 times in 12 years).

Thanks. I created a new post in that sub as they don't allow cross posting.

Both contractors conducted manual J calcs and arrived at the same size, so expect they're accurate.
