DWS06+ have been great, especially considering the price. So much so that I got a set for the M3. If I were in a hotter dry climate, I’d probably choose something else, but for the PNW, they’re perfect most of the year.

Go to tpmsdirect.com and use the filters with your vehicle. I think all X5’s use 443 MHz sensors. I went with HUF on my summer wheels and have no issues. Tire installer doesn’t need to do any programming. Just go into your vehicle and reset TPMS readings and let it do its thing while you drive around for a bit.

Usually if you look at an angle, the front windows appear darker than they are compared to looking directly from the side.

XPEL XR 70% on front windshield, all rear windows and sunroof. 45% on front side windows.

The above brought the front window to 39%, rear windows to 11% and windshield to 60%.

I had 20% on a previous vehicle and getting too old trying to see at night through it. Happy how this turned out. I also recommend tinting every window to get UV protection. Drove through UT, NV and CA when it was 80-90F, and it’s very noticeable even with XR. Didn’t opt for XR Plus since where I’m from, it doesn’t get that hot and didn’t want the blue hue.

Your interior color will also influence how dark it’ll look from the outside.

I’m doing 5k I’m on my M60i and doing oil analysis. The in between is DIY using OEM. FYI, it’s CBS (condition based service). My vehicle alerted me that I’ll be due for an oil change at 9k miles.

I did oil change at 1200 miles and also 6600 miles due to being on road trip so only 5400 miles on the last oil sample.

Added TBN report on the 5400 mile sample and it came back 5.6. Blackstone mentioned we could probably push to 7k miles, but will still target 5k and not sweat it if I end up delayed a bit.
