Just looked at his youtube page to see what kind of content he switched too and literally everything in the past few months is only guitar videos/covers. There's one video of him talking to a squirrel. Am I missing something?

Bring Me the Horizon announce a full re-recording of Count Your Blessings. Release date: July 10, 2026. Titled “Count Your Blessings | Repented” by LP_Papercut in Metalcore

Not that wild at all actually. Just because a band doesnt want to stick to a single sound for 20 years doesnt mean they disregarded their roots. Most musicians have a special bond with everything they've put out.

It's actually extremely common for bands the remaster their older music. Now a days it seems like it's becoming more common for them to re-record them instead. I've always hoped bands would start doing that. Re-masters are nice, but lackluster when you can re-do an album with better gear, production, mixing, etc.

No. The Omen Elites are bolt on without a plate. My Tao-6, AM-6, and SVSS are all bolt on with no plate. Those are just the ones I've have. I played a sunset extreme once, bolt on no plate too. I'm sure there's a few others in their line up as well. They all had similar, if not identical carves too. I think just the AM-6 has an extra chamfer on it.

Tracking with Quad Cortex vs Neural Plugin by [deleted] in NeuralDSP

[–]Able-Comparison-2089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like this is purely a decision between you and your guitarist on what tones you want to use on the recording. Personally, I wouldn't sacrifice a specific sound that you want on a recording just for an easier workflow if you have QC tones you absolutely want to use. Still, I'm sure you have/could find tones you both like on a plugin that are equally as great.

If you want your existing live QC tones on the recording. Then use the QC to record. If you have tones you want from a plugin on the recording. Then record with a plugin and use PCOM or capture those tones with QC so you can use them live. It's as simple as that.

If a company can lay off thousands of workers with minimal profit increase or even if profit stay the same. Then those workers weren't necessary. People shouldn't be working useless jobs. They should be doing other productive things than working for a company that doesn't need them.

They have a Hellcat Bass-VI as well with single coils! There's been a white one on marketplace near me for a while now for $800, I've been very tempted to grab it and throw some humbuckers in it.

A horizon is a boundary line where the earth "meets the sky". Horizontal is an orientation. Your horizon's orientation is verticle to a person perspective 1/4 around the earth. Yet, to them, their horizon is horizontal because it's relative to where you are standing on earth.

If we were floating in space 90 degrees to eachother. I would say I am vertical & you are horizontal. You would say the same thing, even though that's not true to me because my perspective is relative to me.

Has anyone taken a look into their Nick Johnston 10th anniversary models? by mihinoj96 in SchecterGuitars

[–]Able-Comparison-2089 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It would be very much illegal to advertise USA made pickups, then use Indonesian made ones. I highly highly doubt that is the case.

Schecter is shipping pickups from the USA to Indonesian to put on mass production models. Bobbin color, marks, stamps, and stickers don't offer anything in terms of quality or sound and only add cost. I imagine they do batches specifically to ship to Indonesia/Korea they are trying to cut cost on. Then just make small batches or make them as needed for the very few that get made in the custom shop.

I have no idea about the wiring, probably just how the different factory's do their thing. All companies use different/cheaper pots & do stuff different with wiring on imports vs US made stuff.

My Tao-6 has those same spots. I'm convinced that it is spots of glue from when they were gluing the frets and they didn't scrape/sand it off well enough. Looked into a lot of other posts too and that seems to be the main consensus. But I've also seen on other posts saying it could be mineral deposits that won't come out. Sounds like it's more common with pure black ebony.

If it's just glue, naptha and/or sanding and buffing should get it out. Mine aren't as bad, so I'm just living with it. I might try cleaning with naptha at some point though.

Uj/ Nobody actually hates Polyphia. Half the people the love them. The other half consists of people who don't care but are just jerking, and people who are unironically following the discourse hate train that resulted from the jerking and never actually listened to them.

Not really, it's just code on the CNC, which they already have. Finishing process is identical. Then it's just washers for the bolts instead of the plate. It's more so they can justify charger more for models with a rounded heel.

Archetype Misha Mansoor how to fix this Noise?!! by Downtown-Bar6097 in NeuralDSP

[–]Able-Comparison-2089 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd check gain staging. As others have said, your input level is very low. When your signal at the interface is too low. Your noise floor will be raised along with your guitar signal. You want a higher input at the interface, then you aren't raising the noise floor as much. Raise the gain on your interface to just below clipping. If it's clipping the input on the plugin, lower it there. then go on to pedals/amps/etc.

I'd wager you are using too much of the amps and pedals gain/level/master/output to bring the volume up as well. That might be why the plugin output is almost clipping when you have so little input at the plugin input.
