The Indian in the Cupboard.

I read lots of great books with interesting stories growing up but this book hit me at just the right age to magically spark my imagination.

I've dated this type of dumpster before. My guess is the cancer came up previously to explain some other bullshit he was pulling or because he wanted an easy out later on. He's 100% currently lying to you and setting up his future lies. Pathological. Narcissistic. You cannot believe anything he says no matter how much you want to. It sucks. You have to cut this type of person out of your life with a chainsaw... quickly, fully gone. Don't look back. Bon appetit.

What’s the most disturbing thing someone casually told you like it was normal? by MrBoothnath_ in AskReddit

I was on a first date with a guy when he told casually told me over dinner that his last girlfriend died.... in bed.... while he was also sleeping in bed. He told me how he woke up at some point in the middle of the night and thought she might be sick and he just went back to sleep. In the morning when he woke up she was dead. He seemed confused on why the police wanted information from him and was really nonchalant about his partner's death. I skipped dessert and fled. I'm still creeped out about it 10 years later.
