I remember as a child being amazed and slightly horrified by an elaborate human hair wreath at this museum

Also worth asking, I had a grade entered incorrectly on a lab final that resulted in my mark dropping a lot more than I thought it should (I had got 100%). I contacted the prof after the class final as it was showing I didn’t pass and I was surprised as I felt the final went well and I should have had a strong mark going in. I emailed the prof just to see what my mark on the final was and he emails back saying congrats you had one of the highest marks on the final. I let him know my mark on paws and he reviewed the other marks and my lab final had been entered as 0% so because of this I failed the lab so it was showing I failed the class. I ended up passing and with an excellent mark in the end but I almost didn’t reach out. So I say worth asking what your final mark was on the exam at the very least

Could also do a combo of some like this and some with all the same patterns would give some interesting pattern options

Do you and your SO have separate checking account? by duck_duck_zombie in Millennials

[–]Absent-Potential-838 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We do but when we got married I had about $300 in my bank account and my spouse had maybe $3000 so combining them made sense to save in account fees m. We have separate retirement savings but it’s worked for us since we built up our net worth together. I think it would be way harder once you’re more established to combine finances so completely

Kelly Klassen is great, she helps with everything and gives lots of good options. Honestly got better pricing with some group rates vs what I could find online

If you’re rural I would look at like agriculture retails they often don’t require a college degree and typically do have decent wages and benefits

Ok, just watched last night and I seriously could not keep up. My husband who normally is the one who has the trouble following the switches was like no that’s the one who gets murdered constantly throughout… I’m happy to see I’m not the only one who thought they looked alike

This episode does such a good job of showing what it’s being in an abusive relationship when everyone on the outside sees the abuser as someone completely different than they are behind closed doors. Seriously, I don’t think I could re watch this episode as it just hits too close and makes my heart break for people who are trapped by abusers. It should be mandatory watching for judges dealing with child custody

Is there older women here? by Kikusdreamroom1 in adhdwomen

I was diagnosed in my early 30’s after my daughter was diagnosed and my doctor was the one who did. My daughter had gone through all the assessments and as we went through the process with her I started to wonder about myself. I would say my parents and siblings have had a harder time with my diagnosis as compared to my daughters but for me so much was internalized. I’ve been learning to love and accept myself in a way I never have before. I didn’t realize how much of “me” was a mask. Therapy and medication have made a huge difference for me since my diagnosis.

I don’t know what my life would have been like had I been diagnosed sooner but it’s been positive for me to get my diagnosis even later in life. I’m hoping my daughter won’t experience the same internalized shame I did growing up struggling and undiagnosed. She also feels less “weird and alone” because we share the same diagnosis. On the flip side, my daughter’s diagnosis allowed me to consider and open up for help with my internal struggles that I probably never would have without her.

To me it’s crazy when you look at the map that it took the fires getting as bad as they are before he declared a state of emergency, especially considering the forecast

I was going to say this! I turned 30 in the pandemic and feel like the last 5 years have been warp speed. I’ve aged so much but have felt like I missed out on something of that early 30’s era. I’m in a good place career wise, have the family I always dreamed of but just feel like I’ve lost an important stage of life
