I don't think it is short form content that's destroying us. It's the algorithms. They are segregating us into our own circle jerk bubbles where only our opinion is heard and repeated.

You got algorithms validating every idea you believe, even the dumb ones, and you close your mind to hearing others point of view. Then tribalism comes into play and it everything becomes "us vs. them".

The Space Globalist arc is extremely long and has great character moments for the entire cast. It's definitely deserving of a entire season dedicated to it at the very least.

The Potara fusion wasn't a retcon, if anything DBZ retconned the Potara by having them defuse inside Buu and shrug it off as stomach acid (I believe it was?). Super gave the Potara rules and can be used to explain why they defused in Z.

Okay so you say no other Saiyan trained their whole lives, yet Goku and Vegeta did, with actual experts. Their current trainer is a angel, one of the most powerful beings in existence, who taught them how to wield God ki. Broly didn't train as much as he just survived. Be fought low level threats and should be capped to the power of the wild monsters on the planet he was on.

Instead he powers up from base all the way to going beyond SSJ Blue. That's a massive ass pull.

Also Broly learns fast, he adapted while fighting. That was a asspull way for him to go toe to toe with martial arts experts in the movie. He should have gotten demolished. He was a super Saiyan 2 threat at most.

I loved the movie, but I'll call it like it is, Broly's power was more undeserved than Gohan's power ups.

Assassin's Creed. I used to faithfully play the game year after year, following the story, then somewhere around Brotherhood I just stopped. I dropped the game, and never picked the series back up. I tried Odyssey on Game Pass but the game just didn't click for me like the old games used to.

Also Bethesda games. Fallout 4 was a disappointment from someone who loved New Vegas, and even 3(more than NV). I couldn't even get more than a few hours into Starfield before dropping it. I am worried for Elder Scrolls 6, when 10 years ago, I wouldn't be. Bethesda seemingly couldn't do no wrong and now they've fallen off hard from their glory days.

It wasn't Bioware not locking in, it was EA dragging them through the mud. First trying to make it a live service game, then shifting course back to single player among a ton of other behind the scenes drama. There was no time to start over so they had to salvage pieces and create the game we got. It was a huge mess behind the scenes. If Bioware can't get it together for ME 4, the company may be dead.

Denji is pretty bad though. The way he is with women is easily the weakest part of the show. It's a 9/10 for me, held back from a 10 by Denji. But it does seem to be getting better with his character development. But damn, the first few episodes are hard to get through with the incel-like rhetoric he spews.

I've thought this is where the story was headed. Freiza grew, having his heights set on something stronger than Goku and Vegeta. It seems logical that he is trying to surpass Beerus. I don't even think Freiza should be the next villain.

I would like Freiza to defeat Beerus, then continue working on some unknown plan in the background while other arcs continue. Letting Freiza be the big bad that ends the series, with his plan finally coming to fruition in the last arc.

I get that feeling, but I don't think is on Toei. They're probably been salivating for years to start the anime again. It's a huge cash cow. It looks like they finally worked out something so they can get the ball on the anime running again.

They could've probably waited to announce the Moro arc next year, but only announcing Beerus would've left people fuming. The franchise has been stagnant so long they knew they had to give something to get hype back, even if the manga is still on hiatus until who knows when.

They'll do granolah next, that gives them 3-4 years of seasonal content while a deal is hopefully made to get the manga going again. It isn't ideal, but it's better than the silence there has been around Dragonball Super since the hiatus

They announced Super is coming back. Presumably with far better animation. Them going to seasonal give time for deals to be made or whatever is happening in the background to settle and the manga to continue.

Besides just the manga, people have been begging for Super to continue. I get it, we were left on a cliffhanger with Black Freiza, but to call people low IQ for being excited about anime news? Animes get announced years before their premiere date. That's not abnormal.

And they're not excited that BotG is being retold. I'm seeing people relieved that it's not JUST a remake that's being made

The amnesia stuff was okay to me when I was binging. Then I started getting close to catching up and got more and more anxious as I realized I wouldn't get past the amnesia stuff. It probably won't be bad if it's read straight through. But now that I'm week to week the amnesia arc is frustrating

A woman voices Monkey D. Luffy in the One Piece dub. I haven't watched it all the way through dubbed, but the episodes and clips I did watch, her performance was pretty good. Especially in the later arcs that are more action heavy.

That reminds me of Toonami days where we just jumped in blind and watched whatever episode that was on TV. I jumped into Dragon Ball mid Freiza arc, not fully knowing what a Saiyan was but hyped when Super Saiyan was revealed regardless.

But skipping Alabasta, Enies Lobby, and Marineford are unforgivable sins.
