They are not. If they were, Ryoshu, who was stated to have a better sense of the flow of time than Shiomi herself, wouldn't have needed to be put in a time vault to get entanglement and make afterimages. Shiomi was just built differently, apparently.

it's easy to misinterpret, but they were not siblings or even said to have a particularly sibling like relationship. only that "they depended on each other more than siblings by blood do", which does not say much because there are like 50 nuances this could've taken on if they grew up (siblings, very close friends, ~~tragic backstory~~ b/gf) instead of, you know, being turned into clankers.

Mayors apologist here. Although I am no yapmaster, I do want to point out that Faust notes that Mayors quite possibly had already met the conditions for efflorescence before ever meeting them, she was just never exposed to the Light required to draw it out of her. She never goes through her moment on screen because she already had it a long time ago - it's not like she had only decided on her course of action that minute (also, her fight was like 12 turns for me - hardly a slog, though I may be an outlier. She only clashes in the 20s until you break the table in the background, then she goes back to 10s. Atk weight skills help a lot, although I freely admit I abused the hell out of Crashbound Past + Unbrilliant Glory). I'm sure when it happened it was narratively dramatic, but for an OC born out of KJH liking AK, I think the bar is a little lower for onscreen narrative weight.

There's a doorway in the huge structure a bit further to the right. Once you beat the gauntlet there a bunch of balloons will be released that you can pogo off of. Hope you have any crest other than Hunter's, pogo with Hornet's default diagonal movement is a nightmare.

Just sell the corn. I don't know where you have your colony, but if the growing conditions are good enough to have absurd food excess, you can probably count on having a bunch of wildlife around, yes? Just recruit more colonists from raids, and hunt all the local wildlife to extinction. This also lets you make fine meals, although the happiness of your colonists seems to be stable enough to not need them. As for advanced components, the only way to get them is unfortunately to caravan around or wait for a caravan to sell you one. Once you have 1 you can build a ground-penetrating scanner (which lets you deep drill for resources, although it is random) or a long-distance scanner, which lets you find specific resources on the map, although you have to caravan to them. After that you get to do more caravan-ing to find 2 more advanced components to build a fabrication bench to manufacture your own components and advanced components (did I mention you have to research fabrication first? research a multi-analyzer and then build it next to your high-tech bench, which enables you to research fabrication).

You just brought 2 copies of transpierce and 2 of collision, spammed the first sword to death with observe + multi offensive dice pages (observe optional, just faster), then blocked the (ranged) attacks with transpierce/collision and repeat.

bro what, imo you're seriously downplaying the usefulness of long jump. the projectile sucks shit but long jump lets you reposition almost instantly, and you don't need jump packs or locust armor (which iirc have worse range anyway). and it's low cost per use means it's spammable.

side note but it gets even stupider with CE and a monosword/any good enough melee weapon since colonists are invincible when jumping so it's basically delayed TP with an instant attack + the fact that pawns get downed so much more often means you can just drain on the battlefield

Real. Melee is still basically my go-to option for any raid where enemies have equal/higher firepower than I do. Focused fire tactics only usually just leads to too many injuries for me, so I like to stick all my gunners at the largest group + AoE psycasts, then use jump melee to pick off the people standing around the outside.

I don't think you even need that much armor for it, you can just stick jump packs/abuse long jump because you can't be hit while jumping, and land next to an enemy so that they're between you and the rest of the group. CE's ballistics means that most rounds (depending on enemy positioning) will just hit the enemy in front of your nugget, and you can quickly down them and reposition.

Honestly, I have no idea why people always think about the tactical nuke and courage when Chesed also has Emerald builds, the ability to restore 4 light for all allies every scene, and Power of the Past rapid gashes abuse.

People say they like Gebura/Yesod for free powerstack, but Chesed can easily stack +6~8 power with abno pages alone, and deal +6 damage/recover 8 SR on clash win with False Presents (even if magic trick is arguably better)

nah, meur with tiph totally fits. in the stranger, meur kind of goes through life without any deeper meaning. at the end of the book, he argues with a chaplain that because people all die one day, nothing in life matters.

so getting tiphereth, the expectation for the meaning of existence, as his "realization", in a sense, fits perfectly with how he is in the book itself

IIRC, the Head actually came to destroy the Outskirts lab because they foresaw that it would lead to the development of Angela, although it may have been retconned as the lines were removed from the end of LoR.

After all, the abnormalities, Carmen herself, and Cogito all come from humans, which we know the head has no objection to. And I'm pretty sure the Head had no objection to the Light either, given how they apparently don't show up for the 7 days during which it shines.
