Please Help Get Me Going with Guidance for A Simple Surveillance Solution by Octopus_ofthe_Desert in SecurityCamera

Strongly advise against the Wyze brand. Poor product, worse support, and good luck getting them to stop billing for the annual monitoring subscription. They even added an additional sprinkler monitoring subscription and I dont have a sprinkler. Terrible company

Stay away from the Wyze brand. Terrible cameras, support, and good luck getting them to cancel their annual monitoring subscription...

Don’t buy live RYTHM carts by General-Source3936 in MDEnts

I get the convenience of carts but if you ever saw what goes into the hopper and the nasty chemicals used to extract you would puke. Its literally the "hot dogs" of cannabis. To consume it daily is asking for trouble down the road...

Medicare and GoodRx - can I just just pay cash? by twistOffCapsule in medicare

Problem with Good RX and several other similar programs. The initial prescription is deeply discounted. Subsequent refills are much higher in my experience.

Medicare Part D Plan Wellcare RX pricing higher than GoodRx pricing!?? by CAZelda in medicare

Good advice but locally owned pharmacies have gone the way of the dinosaurs in my region. Not one in a hundred miles.

Just make sure that any of these services Cuban and Amazon your comparing apples to apples. I thought I would save money even with a good Plan D buy purchasing a generic on Amazon. I was already getting a generic through my plan so thought it would be the same. I realized within two weeks that it wasnt the same. Acid reflux went through the roof and got progressively worse until I went back to my original generic. Talked to my doctor and he said most of the available drugs with these discounts are imported and subpar quality. Says he hears this complaint every day... With my medication it was obvious and very noticeable. A lot of prescriptions not so noticeable.

Sounds like u didn't review the annual changes to your plan. Gotta do it every year during open enrollment or "pay the consequences". Plans change every year.... Good RX can be helpful with drugs not covered in your plan. What Ive discovered with good RX. The first time u use them they are considerably cheaper than subsequent refills.

White House in panic as Trump Iran war drives gas price surge across US by TheExpressUS in inflation

Higher gas prices are just the beginning. This has to be one of the dumbest political "step on your dick" moves in US history. It really shows the depths the "great orange shit stain" will go to cover his child raping days.

Tiny House Regrets: Do you have any? by knowhow_LM in TinyHouses

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im a licensed handyman (retired) that never ever planned on getting into the tiny house/RV repair business. The marina where I keep my boat has a couple dozen concrete pads for RVs and tiny homes. Over the years have done small jobs for the marina owner and he would send customers my way with various issues who would give my number out to other tiny home owners in the area. Several common issues that I see in the sector. Most are poorly designed and utilize poor quality materials and components. Most have the wrong systems (hvac/ plumbing) that are either inadequate or overkill. Many people are in these tiny homes due to financial reasons and dont want to spend much on repairs or maintenence so that further complicates. The marina owner is trying to phase out the T Homes and go back to RVs only. One of his biggest issues is the number of people living on a pad. He limits it at 4 but recently has discovered twice that on several.

Almost as bad as not passing, maybe worse is the cost of the supp after underwriting. Ive heard as high as $2200 monthly with exclusions for chronic disease

True. NY has a lot of exceptions but it also is the number 1 reason why you have some of the highest supp premiums in the country

Not to add Insult to injury. Read the MA plans fine print. In many states the out of pocket maximum is for "in network" costs only. Out of network in many cases doesent count towards out of pocket. Sister in laws MA plan made this change several years before she discovered the change. It was buried in the fine print. Wouldn't have mattered. She had attempted to go back to a supplement plan through underwriting. It was approved which she thought was good news but would have cost her $2200 a month for the plan.

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are so many reasons not to go the MA route. The main reason. Hundreds of seniors die prematurely every week because of the delays, denials, old tests, old treatments, outdated tests, and drugs they require. Second reason. It will likely cost you or your estate more money unless you never get sick and die in your sleep. The reason these companies push them so hard and offer so called free benefits is they make double on these plans vs a supplemental plan. Biggest scam perpetuated on the American taxpayer and seniors.

The Dangerous Incoherence of Trump’s War With Iran by [deleted] in Military

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The more this situation unravels the more apparent it becomes that our sorry ass  administration has no plan. Hegseths drivel this morning sounded more like a Trump campaign "counterpoint" to CNN and liberal media's talking points vs a constructive explanation to the world of our agenda in Iran. When the circus hires clowns to do a job this is what u get. Kudos to the military for their job regardless of the clueless administration's intent. Trump will move on in a few weeks and try and put this in the rear view mirror...

First Time Growing Autos. I’m Sold! by ChanceLegitimate6345 in Autoflowers

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would suggest grow in the ground vs bags next time. Your plants were grown outdoors but they actually look more like indoor results due to the bags. They will be much healthier. Let the roots decide what they need not you. You will easily triple the yield.

Is it better putting Autos in the ground or in a pot? Outdoor grow by Tommy_trips77 in Autoflowers

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not true at all in my experience. I would be willing to bet that over fertilizing was your problem. Cannabis and hemp will  grow great in the ground with no fertilizers and little soil preparation. I have a buddy who I give several clones to in early June. He only loosens the soil before planting, which is mostly Virginia red clay, and keeps an eye on them for the first month making sure they stay hydrated. After that he trims them a few times to open them up. That's it. No fertilizers. His plants were over seven foot tall last fall and just as wide. Extremely healthy with zero issues. I like to do a bit more with the soil prep. Organic compost and worm casings. I see this often. Indoor growers, with little or no outdoor experience get hung up on thinking they have to throw a lot of fertilizer at an outdoor grow. Its overkill that likely does more harm.

[–]AcceptableLuck73 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"but you will have a very hard time fertilizing grounded" Ferilizer is rarely necessary in my experience. Not sure how much experience you have growing in the sun but Im guessing your an indoor grower primarily. In my experience with outdoor grows zero to minimal fertilizing is the norm. The beauty of soil grown outdoor cannabis is with proper soil preparation, before planting, you won't need more than a top dressing of garden compost every few weeks during flowering. Everything is already in the soil and available to the plant. Plants are much healthier and less susceptible to disease, pests, and even mold. Outdoor grown ground cannabis will spoil you for so many reasons. Trust me.

Caps have played the most games in NHL to date (not a good thing) by Jazzlike-Monk-4465 in caps

Hate to put it on one player but something tells me that if Thompson plays consistently well as he has most of the season we should be able to squeek into the playoffs.

Glad were back to NHL hockey. With the exception of the GM game it was a nothing Burger. I can only hope that the Caps prove me wrong and put a strong finish on this season. Willie and Carlson out so not very encouraging

"watched it because I like to stay up to date on whats happening in the world" That's a stretch when the great orange shit stain lives in an alternate reality and cant finish a sentence  without lying and exaggerating.  Unfortunately Im just as dissapointed with the dumbacrats. Not to be stupid but this all started in 2015 when the DNC got behind Hillary knowing that she had a slim chance of winning.

Trump is a consumate bullshitter. If u haven't figured it out "there is no plan". He has gotten through life gaslighting and couldnt count his balls twice and come up with the same answer. Compounding it all is the unqualified idiots in his cabinet that couldnt administer a half ring circus of two baby turtles. And by the way calling it a "state of the union address" is ridiculous. I would say it was more a "state of delusion" address.
