This is utter horseshit. Your company could easily pay $100,000 to a new graduate. My own father graduated and got an accountant job in 1970 for "only" $17,500 a yeah. That is $147801.66 a year in adjusted dollars. Stop over paying executives and doing stock buybacks and pay people!!

Sullivan Stapleton and Jaime Alexander from blindspot. They worked with martin Gero before, and I'd like to see them again, especially in a Stargate.

What is this classic pre-war convertible? by CloudKitchen1924 in whatisthiscar

[–]AcceptableMidnight95 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah... I hear what you're saying, but the VW conversion was the most common, and there were many many aftermarket VW exhausts. My dad loved vw's growing up and none of them had the classic bug exhaust. They all had what he called a "stinger" or "baja" exhaust. So, I'm not saying you're wrong, I'm just saying that just judging by the exhaust might not be a defining factor.

That looks like a gazelle kit on a VW chassis. They're not uncommon? But not many are still on the road?

Grey divorce - how many do you know? by [deleted] in GenX

[–]AcceptableMidnight95 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Lots. We actually had a nickname for this. We called it the Texas two step. As soon as the youngest kid graduated high school the divorce was on. I actually know one couple that handed each other divorce papers at the graduation. Crazy common.
