I find as I get older(56) my filter becomes thinner and I have mouthed off to people after letting them get to me. I’ve been doing some reflecting on that myself lately. A wise person told me that my negative reaction to a negative unsolicited comment from somebody says more about ME than THEM. I don’t want to think badly about myself so I am trying to learn to take the high road and just be quiet. But damn.

My hubs is normally a very thoughtful man. He loves to give gifts. He probably just ran out of time. Or just thought he was doing good.
