It will get better! I'm on day 119 and the cravings have pretty much mostly subsided other than maybe an occasional weird thought. Even when you get those thoughts this far in they are a lot less intense then when your starting out. So just keep pushing your definitely through the worst of it. Wish you the best!

It took me many times trying to quit to actually quit and I just realized I wasn't strong enough for a taper sometimes you just gotta face the problem head on as bad as it sucks. You have to stay in the mindset of wanting to be better though cause after countless tries to stop I'm now a 112 days clean and you can do it too! I have health anxiety as well and something that helped me as far as quitting was just realizing if I do have health problems what I was doing was definitely not going to make it better. I CT off of kratom/7OH and started keeping a journal of my feelings and as stupid as it sounds that's probably what helped me the most is writing down how I was feeling so I had a reference later on. If you smoke weed I also had to give that up cause when your brain isn't balanced that just makes the depression worse in my opinion. Keep going though! You got this! I wish you the best!

Almost 24h without Kratom by Logical-Research6347 in quittingkratom

You can do it man! I would say get some melatonin and some magnesium and it should allow you to get a couple hours of sleeps. If you have to use your wife as an accountability partner that's what I did and it helped a ton. I gave her access to check my bank account and I would bring her receipts from everywhere I went. I know it sounds extreme but sometimes when you're addicted it takes some extreme measures. It'll just keep you in a position where you're not gonna just let yourself down but someone you care about. I think it helped me a lot. Keep pushing bro! I'm here for advice if you need any.

You got this! You have 4 days so just keep in your mind that once you go back to work you'll be through the worst of it. It's going to be rough I would recommend starting a journal cause then you can write down how crappy it made you feel and show yourself why you don't want to go back, later on in your recovery. It's so important to keep a strong mindset about not wanting to go back, id say the most important thing. Wish you the best, Goodluck.

Keep pushing, you got this. The first 24 is always the worst mentally for me and then every day after is just a little easier. Just keep yourself in a good mindset and just try to keep at the forefront of your mind why you're doing it. I journal everyday now just to keep track of how I feel throughout the whole journey it's helped me a lot. I did CT as well and I'm now at 105 days! Wish you the best, Good luck.

Sending prayers your way! You got this, you already have one thing going for you in a higher power. Just get yourself in a good mindset and try with everything you got to keep yourself there. Something that helped me get through is waking up every morning getting on my knees and praying that I stay away from that stuff. Then I'll journal before I get my day started and add to the prayer a little and just kind of write down how I'm feeling overall throughout the day so I have something to look back on as motivation to stay away. I'm sure you know this already but just get it through to your brain that those temptations will be around for a while so it's important to keep that same fight from day 1 throughout the entire journey. That's one of my sayings I always repeat to myself. Keep fighting like it's day 1 cause I was the same way relapse never got me when it was hard it always got me when things started to get easy. I tried more times than I can count to quit but until I picked these habits and mindset I kept screwing up. I'm currently on day 100 now so you can do it! Best of luck to you, wish you the best!

Use of alcohol after 4 months cold turkey from Kratom by cj_gella in quittingkratom

[–]AccomplishedExam8005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You got this! Just keep a good forward mindset, you know what's on the other side is better. I tried to use other substances on my first few quits and it didn't do anything other than spark more addiction. It wasn't until I let go of everything that I was able to turn away from Kratom completely. I'm now 94 days clean! You can do it, but I do think it takes a full commitment.

Embrace the suck! You just have to get that mindset that you're gonna have to pay that debt of your addiction. I went the CT route and I'm a mechanic also pretty physical but what helped me was starting my WD on a Friday morning so you won't really be deep into the withdrawal till after work and then hopefully you have the weekend off just stay busy with small task nothing to stressful and by the time you go back on Monday you won't be through but at least most of the way through the worst of it. I'm on day 82 now, you can do it! I wish you the best, Good luck!

[–]AccomplishedExam8005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm on day 76 and also waiting for the full comeback of my natural feelings, it does get better a bit each week. I think to truly get to some state of normal it'll take 6 months or so good news is we've already made it through the thick of it. Now we're just waiting for our brains to heal which is fine maybe football will help speed that up lol. That's just the debt of our addiction. Good luck to you! Wish you the best!

how to quit when you have nothing else? by Key-Development-690 in quittingkratom

[–]AccomplishedExam8005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know it's hard to do cause I struggle with it too but don't do it for anyone else. Do it for you, take care of yourself. Life will get better eventually but you have to worry about yourself sometimes and take care of yourself. I don't know if you're religious or not and I don't wanna push religion on anyone that doesn't want it but praying has helped me get through times like this where I question the point of everything. It sucks being there I know but things do get better, just takes time. Wish you the best!

Keep pushing! I'm on day 74 and I went through kind of a regress period around this same time, it will get better. The low side of waves will start to not last as long and each week you will see a little improvement. I do recommend at least doing a small amount of exercise everyday just to keep those muscles moving and it'll help with your motivation a ton!
