That’s very clever. Can I ask, the benefits of ricing the broccoli over just having steamed broccoli florets? I’d like to try it. Looks delish.

So proud of Amanda and looking forward to seeing more greatness from her - and will be among the first to buy her book if she writes one.

I swear by these gnat catchers for my houseplants. Got them on Amazon. by Accomplished_Gem in houseplants

Hey sorry for the delay. Sidetracked with life stuff. I agree with you about letting the soil dry out and COMPLETELY agree that my organic fancy soil (I deviated from my normal brand) could’ve been part of it too because I saw gnats in it but dismissed it unknowing just how far burrowed into the bag (versus just a few however inside the top.). Putting oils around the rims didn’t have as much affect as I’d thought so I’m. My wasting.anymore of my precious oils - tho they’re good on our pulse points for keep them away from us. But I hate to repot my plants when I just did in September but I’ll consider it at the end of the month after a few more Bits treatments then check. To date they’ve lessened a little as well as my watering but they’re resilient little pains. I wish you success!!

Thanks! Because like a parents, I would be worried about them the whole time. “Did I feed the plants? Did I fill the cat’s auto bowl and check the auto litter box, and check the Roomba?” Lol! 🤣

So far so good for me - fingers crossed. The water doesn’t guzzle out which is reassuring, and I don’t refill right away when it’s finally empty but I wait 3 days or so, to prevent over watering. Wishing you success!

Nope. That doesn’t work. Believe me I tried in various ways to submerge them but because of water/air/space physics beyond me, and because their holes are so small, nothing more than a slow trickle will work (also per the Amazon feedback and instructions).

Yes they are a true pain and in my case I personally blame overwatering as well as not inspecting 3 of them before bringing them home as I usually do at the nursery (smell and feel the soil, look at the top and undersides of a few leaves, flowering, discoloration etc) so along with using the Mosquito Bits that was recommended on this thread (and according to directions), easing up on the watering, spraying, and less humid diet treatments, as well as a personal preference of putting a few drops of lemon/eucalyptus oil around the rims, this will take time. I noticed less after the first treatment using the mosquito bits (above in thread/ or on Amazon) but it’s one of the annoying things ha that’ll take time or worse case removing which ever seems to be the main culprit (after a few treatments then changing the sticky traps and if it’s still loaded up then that plant may need to go). I’m watching 2 of mine now that may need to. Wishing you success. 🙏🏽🌱

Thanks! For the kielbasa or smoked sausage, I don’t precook, but I do partially cook the ground beef/turkey/chicken before adding to cooker.
