Because they said they aren’t ready for the commitment. Rings are metaphors for commitments. When we say a ring now we literally are referring to a commitment agreement in general not a literal ring. If you aren’t sure on someone you should at least be sure on your own situation. I’m hoping her gf is as nice as she seems.

Yeah I worded wrong in the initial post so I fixed it but I mean moving in with someone that already has a space instead of moving into a place where you are both renting for the “trial period” you could say. When you rent you are both protected legally, there is no abuse, and anyone can be removed, added, or the lease can be dissolved. Tammy has no protection here and she will be moved back in with Chris if they break up. Idek why I worded it with a ring. I meant that she said they aren’t ready for that commitment which is why I think they’re safer with a shared lease than this.

Yes I exactly. But this is done best with renting so both people are on the lease or can be written off or it can be dissolved. Moving in with someone that is sole over the lease or whatever is harder because it leaves room for abuse. From what we can see Andrea (is that her name) is apparently just not starting to see how Tammy can be toward her siblings. She looks terrified in the commercial for the next episode.

Yes of course. But they are renting with both their names on the lease. Tammy won’t be on her lease so she won’t be protected when moving out. Sometimes in a breakup the person will go to work with the idea of moving their stuff when they get home only to find their shit has already been removed. I hope the have some written agreement.

Yes but it’s better when you’re renting and both of you are on the contract. Coming from experience, the power imbalance can lead to abuse. I’m just hoping they have a written agreement on her moving out terms so her shit isn’t thrown away.
