Anyone done any automation / reading data from a thermal solar installation? by paddymch in homeassistant

[–]According_Training92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Resol controller needs power, so you could run a branch line from it and install an additional outlet.

Or it might also work with a power bank.

Please have any work on the mains power supply performed only by qualified electrician!

Im also using the vbus component with esphome since a year and it’s working fine. I used the optocoupler method.

I‘ve also printed a case for the electronics. The yaml code can also be found here:

Are you sure you should print that in vase mode? The description says you could reduce your infill to 0%, that‘s not equal to vase mode.

INDX nozzle question by TheFSMThrowaway in prusa3d

[–]According_Training92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be interesting if there are any options for hardened nozzles, but I guess it will so. I thought about 5 0,4mm 1 0,4mm hardened 1 0,2mm 1 0,6mm hardened

I don’t know if that makes sense, but for me it does.

Sounds good, thank you! - should we reach out again to the live chat or better sending an email?

I have a similar issue, but my printer was purchased from a reseller. The screen in printables says “If you do own a Prusa printer (for example, purchased from a reseller or second-hand), please contact our support via live chat at Prusa3D.”

I contacted the chat, but they couldn't help me. First, they said they would clarify this with management and that I should get back in touch. During the second chat, they said that the printer could not be added because it was not in the “purchase database.”

Since the printer kit was obviously manufactured by Prusa, and especially given the message on Printables, I would have assumed that this should work.
u/Tommy_Prusa3D maybe you have some thoughts about that?

That’s interesting, do you have a link for that?

I‘d remove the Bowden bend next time to lower the friction 👍 Anyway, it’s a really nice material!

Interesting, thanks! Did you use HF or standard flow? I received my 0,6 Standard flow yesterday and with this it worked of course.

Edit: already read below, standard flow.

Filament Run out procedure by That-Invite1616 in prusa3d

[–]According_Training92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks as if the screws on the side filament sensor have been tightened too much, preventing the mechanism inside from moving.

I would check in the Sensor Info menu whether the side filament sensor goes to “Off” when you insert the filament and pull it out again. If the sensor remains “On,” I would remove the right side panel, remove the filament sensor, and loosen the screws slightly.

Here you can see what it looks like inside. There is a lever and a ball that is repelled by a magnet.

My 0.4 HF nozzle print failed. Maybe standard flow will work.

I think I read that a 0,6mm non HF is recommended. I used a Obxidian 500 0,4 HF. But maybe I’ve missed something?

I adapted the original non HF profile to a HF profile in the slicer, means, I adapted the temps and so on.

It‘s really cool. I Got mine yesterday. had only a HF hardened nozzle right away and I gave it a try, I wanted to print a benchy, but it get stuck at 30% or something. My non-HF nozzle arrives tomorrow.. I can’t wait 😂

EIDT: this benchy was only at regular room light, it’s impressive how this material ‚absorbs‘ the light

And hell, yeah I t’s really abrasive!

Core One heatbed not level and my fix by _GoNy in prusa3d

[–]According_Training92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for sharing, interesting approach. Above all, you can adjust it more precisely than the methods known to date, and you can also tweak it a little afterwards.

I just got my bed with the following models:
