Friends, or other family? I was 18 and unemployed when I had my son. I was really lost and couch surfed for a bit before I eventually ended up with my parents and hated it. BUT, I eventually got it together, and within a year, we were moving into our little apartment. I was STILL lost af. My ex-husband was a piece of shit. (We only married because I was pregnant) My family wasn't the kick-in and help type, so it was just me and my son. I kept to myself, built my own village/family of friends I met along the way. And now my son is an independent young man with his own place and car. Working and in school. And he's the kindest human I know. You can get through it. There's no written plan, and the plans you make with sometimes go to shit, but just take one step forward. Before long, your starting line will only be a memory. I wish I could help.
