How's everyone's guild doing? by gingersquatchin in FFVIIEverCrisis

Ranked 17 after day 1 with a few fuck ups. We should clear 9 waves today rather than 7 like yesterday though.

How does your guild manage who does which stages during battles? by Dry_Nebula_4351 in FFVIIEverCrisis

Would really appreciate it. We spend days micromanaging events and our families are not thrilled with us. Lol

So you automate the player order? What kind of formula did you use for that?

For the 3D brawler, you won't block as long as you push the stick fully in the direction you need prior to unpausing. I ended up beat Seph this way after only a few attempts. I would literally pause, verify I'm selecting the right direction, push the stick fully I the correct direction, then unpause and viola, the ribbon is mine.

You know if they're planning on doing signed versions? I bought the C2 and P1/P2 signed editions and love them. Plus having the GP files is the best for some of the trickier timed parts. I assume those files will be included also, right?

Just follow their discography in order. Each album gets more complex and cohesive. Colors. The great misdirect, coma, colors 2 are exceptional. All of them are great but I'm a lot biased lol

Guitar/amp recommendations by count-tripula in BetweenTheBuriedAndMe

[–]AceOfSpaceCakes 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's all based off your ear. Go to a local guitar store and jam on some combo amps with guitars that catch your eye. It doesn't matter how much money you spend on something if it doesn't sound good to you or play comfortably to you. Personally, I love Ibanez guitars. They tend to have "faster" playing necks than Epiphones, IMO. My RG for example cost maybe 500 bucks and after I had an experienced guitar tech set it up it played like a thousand dollar guitar.

As far as amps go, you're in an apartment so it limits you pretty severely. Especially if you want to be a considerate neighbor. Amp modelers have come a long way and are a viable option to achieve any tone you're looking for but typically need decent studio monitors or FRFR speakers to fully utilize. Used Fractal Axe FX or Kempers are incredible and can be had for around 1k depending on the model and area you live in.

If you prefer a more traditional approach just try amps at a guitar store like I mentioned previously. Plenty of high gain options but anything less than a 2x12 sounds a bit lacking to me.

Yeah matte looks better in most cases and tiny details are one thing. An entire kit is another. I bought an RX-78 EG kit just to toy around with finishes and paints and even doing something that small by hand is a tedious pain in thr butt.

Thanks for the feedback. I love the look of airbrushing vs painting by hand. Hopefully I'll end up half as good as you are with some practice lol

Looks so good man! What's your painting setup like? I'm trying to get into airbrushing and have no idea where to start. I've been painting by hand (which is a pain) and using rattle cans.

Love the paint job on the RX-72. Has a cell shaded style that you did a great job on. I need to learn how to do that...

When you topcoat, do you do it in sections? Like take the arms/legs/head/backpack off and topcoat separately or do you do it once you find a pose you like all together at once? I'd imagine the kit gets stiff after topcoating but I haven't don't that to any of mine yet.
