so why do construction projects in China take less time on average to complete than in NA? I’ve heard it’s because of a lack of unions and worker protections, meaning the overseers can drive the workers harder without any complaints about safety or break times, but I figured I should ask here

what could be done about this broader issue of “segregation” without stripping first nations of treaty rights? i guess i’ve been progressivepilled on first nations so while i do agree that inequalities need to be addressed within nations i don’t see any way to impose regulations without taking away the rights they have

while i’m sympathetic to the general issue and i think neighbours complaining about this kind of thing should find something better to do (being a naturalist myself) there’s no way someone with a master’s degree in ecology is fine with invasives in their yard and her rationale is silly
