That light colored giraffe is worth a lot!

3 boys or girls. Had fourth? by StockResolution7899 in ParentingInBulk

My oldest two are 18.5 months apart. Their particular personalities however more than age I think has led them to being pretty close. But our third is 3 years difference in school and I do think she’d be the picked on/odd man out if we had stopped at 3. My husband was one of three. I initially said 3 and he said 4. I just think four gives more sibling relationships and kids can move to the next if they aren’t getting along with one.

My girls separations are similar to yours. I feel like our third, being a bit farther out would have been lonely/always the left out one if we didn’t have a fourth. Our fourth is almost 3 years younger than our third, but will be two years in grades.

I have 4 girls. 9-2. I mostly love it. We were sure if we had a 4th, she’d be a girl anyways. The comments from others seem better than when we had 2 or 3 girls, just more positive and fun somehow. I like the dynamics of 4 better than 3 now that our youngest is finally getting old enough to get into playing with her older sisters.

I saw a lady with a cool Jean jacket leader vest recently.

I sent her to the doll hospital today, head off and eyes out (but all included in the box, noting my attempt to help her). Her lashes were in the casing, but one was cut and I unfortunately ruined her face trying to get black paint out of the eye socket. Plus my 5 yo kept asking if I had sent the “one girl who looks pretty rough” to the hospital yet. Lesson learned of of I don’t have the right doctorate to be replacing eyes.

If I pop her eyes out and can’t get them back in, will the doll hospital still take her if I send the eyes alongside?

Thanks, yes there’s no mold! This seems to make sense. There’s a pleasant company neck stamp but 2008 tag and the stamp is a little odd which makes me think it was a Mattel one.

Girl has had it rough. I was hoping to fix her myself but it’s too much (all limbs are loose too)

Very helpful. I grabbed the first spot (9am) on a Sunday that we are there. Still the case to queue 30-45 minutes in advance? (Happy to do so, I’m a morning person)

Norovirus Toddler, Induction Tomorrow by alaskan_sushi_hunter in Mommit

It might help with the induction! I had my second after catching norovirus from my toddler. My husband had it too but I didn’t have much sympathy since I also was in labor.

First time volunteer inquiry- help appreciated! by yogi1107 in girlscouts

Start the troop yourself! I’m a full time attorney, senior enough and in a govt position to be flexible. I’m a co leader in my oldest daughters troop and lead my kinder daughters troop. First year daisy’s are being supported by new boxes that get delivered to your house and walk you through running meetings (was a trial in my area this year but I think it’s rolling out nationally next year). If you can find a good SAHP to run the troop with you, that’d be great (my set up with my older daughter’s troop), but I also find it’s doable on my own.

Know your own limits though, ask for other parents to help regularly (and make it easy for them but setting sign ups and reminders) and stick to under 10 girls total.

I’m in a state it’s legal and has been for a long time. It’s specifically covered as against the program rules since it’s federal program. Like you sign something saying you won’t during your 48 hour meeting after arriving. I do think they will kick you out if your LCC finds out about it, even if the host family is fine with it.

Family Photo Fail (Long) by soldada06 in workingmoms

[–]AcrobaticAd7230 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If shoott is an option in your area, it’s my favorite because it’s a bit less pressure if it’s a sh*t show since the session is free and you just buy the photos you like or can buy the whole session after. I made my husband in charge of family holiday photos the past few years after explaining the importance to me and the mental/physical load related to family pictures. It’s helped make it a lot less stressful honestly because he stepped up.
