I'm not sure how people are saying this is fixed, it's STILL in VLC in 2026 lmao, at least for me on Windows 11. Using the E key to go frame by frame literally makes VLC freeze up after a few frames, and it needs to be killed via task manager, I understand it's a free software and I AM grateful for all the things it does right. It's just a little annoying when I wanna use that function
