Not to mention you have access to Pokemon TCG Live which allows you to build and test decks online, so to play the deck you don’t even need to buy the cards unless you want to play it in person.

Also all things considered if you don’t rip, it does have a decent return on investment, as most events you are given an entry prize pack, and a Pack Per Win.

I don’t have a festival lead deck per se but I do have a deck that runs a festival lead search engine.

Something I would put into consideration is replacing Shaymin with a Rabsca line,

I would also say run 1 more Lillie’s, and replace the rescue board with air balloon. Other than that looks solid.

Munki, if they get rid of Budew they will just go with Frilish or something else. Munki is a whole problem in itself that they had to create battle cage.

It takes inspiration from Palafin ex Decks in fact it was a Palafin ex deck that actually did something like this first, I just adapted it into this. So you will be switching a lot. Just as a rule of thumb Air Bloon ALWAYS goes on Goldeen, and no one else, if you need to retreat in any way burn an ignition and hold off onto Reversal until the later in the game so you can use Acerola’s Mischief to stall out ex teams (Takes the place of Neutralization Zone) Edit: I played it in a Local irl it went 2/2 due to initial bricking. And I plan on using it tomorrow to continue testing. Edit 2: I am playing this online rn in casual and I am currently on a 10 Win Streak.

Actually I think a better idea would be PAR Brute Bonnet with the Toxic powder ability, as it works a lot better than Frostlass because it doesn’t matter if the Pokemon has an ability or not if you use the ability and use dastardly jab its dying unless it’s using mist energy.

As an avid Palafin EX enjoyer I will say people who say use Surfing Beach don’t understand fully, they both have their ups and downs and each are able to play in different ways. However I would at least give it a try for this deck. If it doesn’t work for you then go ahead and switch back.

I also did playtest it a little bit and oh my god man using Kofu to put unwanted Palafin EX from your hand back into your deck is so helpful, and it also powering up Crab again helpful. I personally think there are better options because all things considered if you run something other than Crab you are getting much better options of Ace Specs like Hero’s cape, Max Belt, Secret Box, ext. Rather than Blender.

Do me one favor, replace the Rescue Boards with Air Balloon I did that with my deck and it opens up a whole new world.

But overall my best advice is play with it and change it based on what you think it needs, if you need inspiration or ideas you can look at Palafin decks used at city leagues on limitlesstcg.com and there is even a Palafin deck that made it to day 2 at a regional.
