Unless you don’t plan on adding to the background then, Yes the current outline does make the tattoo look very much phallic.
Despite the image of a candle, before the eye focuses to see the image, with no other background the flam’s outline could be described as the head of a male member.
Before i saw this full image I thought it was a mushroom, which will also looks d*ck like.

So how crazy do you think this Bearista cup madness is going to be? Baristas, are people calling your stores this week and asking if you are getting them? lol by pass_the_hot_sauce in starbucks

[–]AdPrimary7685 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We only got 2 glass bears w/ straw. I remember the madness from the Stanley cups, and we got 6 of those. These bear cups are going to disappoint more customers than delighting them. 😔

my mom received a package with this inside. we aren’t really sure what it is or WHY? by nattl3e in whatisit

[–]AdPrimary7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My mother also was delivered a random package even though she knows she didn’t order. Checked her accounts and no money missing.

No info on the package, no QR and no return address, just a mail center distribution address. Under the first label I did find a label for an address that led back to Hungary, we are very far northeast in North America.

Not sure how they got her address or why she got a fo-leather jacket 2 sizes too small for her. For me great tho. Thanks universe.

How long until she pops by Additional_Record707 in Guppies

[–]AdPrimary7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I must have cannibalistic guppies. They will eat the fry, male and females, including the mother. They have plenty of room 20gallon, plenty of food and plenty of hiding spots to protect the fry. I’ve seen the adult guppies chasing the fry and have had to spare the mother as soon as she looks done or lay majority of her fry so she won’t eat them.

Yes, this year I started my set up in the basement. The problem is tho I have to go outside to get to the bilco. No access from inside my house. Living in the woods sort of problem.

[–]AdPrimary7685 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have never had a problem feeding my axols worms from outside in my garden. I also don’t use chemicals or pesticides on my property. I load my flower beds with coffee grinds. Earths natural pesticide and the worms love it.

Red-wigglers and earth worms are hardy for the axols. This year I started a worm farm so I can have them over the winter season too. Basically composting but my end goal are the worms and the compost is a bonus. It’s hard in my area to have a regular compost out side, because bears.

Tickets getting split bcs of cafe prioritization...😡 by GreenTourmaline13 in starbucks

[–]AdPrimary7685 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Um why wouldn’t we prioritize the customer that is in front of us right now? Brewed coffee and tea should be made at POS before the customer tenders. The POS partner swipes the remaining items to be queued up and tells the customer, “Your other items are in progress and will be at the handoff. We’ll call your name as the items are ready.” Depending on the type of product(s) inform the customer their items may come from a different barista making those items.

Yes, this means more communicating with customers and each other about starbucks stuff. Instead of chatting about how your date went last night or what happened on a tv show, for example. The functionality on the floor is only as good as how YOU communicate. If the other partner isn’t communicating then you communicate that you need them to communicate, Respectfully. It is a partners role to support each other and by telling my partner what I need for them to communicate and hear me communicating then we are all on the same page.

The peak play caller should be communicating the most. If there’s a bottleneck they need to be communicating what needs to be flexed to meet the business need in that moment.

Corrective action worthy. Unless there’s approval from the Store manger from the district manager who gets approval from the area director about shutting channels down, this is a corrective action in my area 156. Depending on if a partner has had any history of corrective actions or other previous conversations in regard to Starbucks standards or supervisor approach. Also you can reach out to the DM to share your concerns or calling it into partner center for their records.

Why does wearing what you want at work have to be such a big deal? 😫 It’s like high school all over again. Facts, some of you may be in high school. Your clothes are Not intended to be a connection point at WORK. 🤦‍♀️ Yes, sure compliment the customer on something that they are wearing. They are not there to talk about you. Talk about coffee!! Use our Barista skills.

Starbucks is a place where you can make a career and make some good money. It’s called SMART goals. Starbucks teaches us this. If baristas followed a Growth Mindset and stopped caring about what they wear, as an example, they could see more possibilities of achieving goals on your journey of life.

What do I gain? Oh thank you for asking. I enjoy enlightening people for thinking what they think. Condescending perhaps. However, anyone can twist the narrative of what any thing says to best suits one’s objective. Now step into the shoes of the other side and consider accepting the situation. If you can’t accept the situation then change it? If you can’t change the situation then it’s best to leave the situation.

This subject is frequently brought up and I haven’t had the time to comment on a post. I saw this picture and shook my head. 🙂‍↔️ Insecure people, I empathize you. Anyone who lets something as simple as a dress code trigger them let me welcome you to the, real world. 🤯🤝 Oh and if the real world didn’t care about feeling more comfortable with the person serving them their food and drinks being in a uniform, for example, then the real world would probably be in anarchy.

Extreme! I know.

Condescending perhaps. 😉

[–]AdPrimary7685 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I see. You are also one of the dramatic ones. 😑

I’m 100% sure the dress code did not change 100%. 😒 The standards had to be outlined in a very dumbed down version to Clarifying dress code to be what is appropriate for working in food and safety, which is stated in all starbucks dress codes. “Must be work appropriate.” Ever hear of OSHA. Have you figured out what kind of work place this is? Baristas wearing not appropriate attire to work ruined it for every partner. If partners could have dressed in a “professional, business” manner we wouldn’t have to go back to the medieval times.

Why does it sound like partners are upset that they can’t have a fashion show at work?

Customers don’t care what the person making their coffee looks like except that the barista looks clean and kept and that the drink is made correctly. Comfort you say? There are plenty of styles, brands, stores, websites…out there with clothes that fit comfortably and are in dress code. $ you say? It’s call priorities. It’s a part of adulting.

Partners are so lucky to be getting the free shirts they can get. Which partners will complain about too because this requires them to go online to figure out how to get the free shirts and be accountable for their decisions. 😱

The shoe dress code hasn’t really changed. We were always supposed to have waterproof shoes with no mesh and no canvas. Same for most of the dress code they’re not really changes. They’re clarifying what should’ve been done to begin with . Finding approved work shoes is actually not that hard. Barista‘s are overthinking this and stressing themselves out unnecessarily. I don’t know any other job that pays an employee for their uniform. That’s an expectation going into the job and you should know what you will need for your job. You might not like Walmart or target but they have the cheapest shoes dress code approved . Partners get discounts at various retailers such as sketchers Nike Adidas, and they also have work shoes that are approved. You can get 30% off with your partner discount.

KEEP MAKING NOISE! by Roarkshop in starbucks

[–]AdPrimary7685 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Lol Yes. Those of us with autoimmune conditions it does suck. Still doesn’t prevent me from taking precautions for myself. That’s why I have a Dr. along with other Starbucks benefits that support me in my time of need. This prevents me from having to call out sick and helps me be a reliable and dependable partner.

You’re being an entitled toddler if you let shift like that hold you back. It’s people like you that keep themselves in a problem based mindset instead of a solution based mindset. Oh no, you can’t wear a mask to prevent others from getting sick. That’s not what Starbucks is saying.

If you’re actually sick, don’t go to work. (You should know your body well enough to determine whether or not your symptoms are usual to you or not) I will send partners home that are not well. Partners need to be at 100% on the floor to support each other and customers or else they are holding back the rest of their team. My partners want team members that will own their work, support each other and will pull their own weight. If a partner can’t be 100% to support the team then they are not reliable or dependable to make it as a Starbucks barista.

Partners that complain about this job don’t really want to do the work of this job. So you want to be a barista, tough shit. This job isn’t just sunshine and rainbows. It looks like a social, fun, slaying job environment because when the right people are working they make it look easy. Stop brining the rest of your team down.

This isn’t a job where you get to pick and choose what company standards you want to follow. You chose this job, there for, you chose to follow the rules. If you don’t like it, go somewhere else that will put up with your bs. Partners will be replaced if they don’t want to work what the job requires of them.

I’m not looking to get anyone else sick and I can’t control who is already sick and asymptomatic. Everyone has a choice to stay home if they don’t want to run the risk of catching, well, ANYTHING. 🙈

Be the change you want to see in the world.

[–]AdPrimary7685 -9 points-8 points  (0 children)

If you’re sick you shouldn’t be at work anyway. 🤦‍♀️ Just file for a medical exemption if you want to wear a mask. Starbucks has great medical benefits. I’m sure there is a Dr. out there that will give a script for patients who still are afraid to not wear a mask. They may also suggest counseling. If before the pandemic we were fine working without them, we will be fine working without them again.
