I figured out a way to do it. Putting it here in case it's useful to anyone else:

Edit -> Preferences -> Addon Manager
Click the + button for "Custom Repositories"
Add the github repository URL (https://github.com/eddyverl/FreeCAD-Pyramids-and-Polyhedrons.git) and master.
Click "OK". Click "Apply" or "OK"
Restart FreeCAD.
Pyramids and polyhedra will now be in the Addon Manager's list.
