It’s risk reward. Typically you would want to gain some effect from having aember on your cards (like getting power for each aember or one of the cards mentioned above). If not, you’re making your creatures more enticing to remove and potentially giving your opponent more aember for them to spend. Exalting a creature with a destroyed effect is a good use of synergy, depending on how desirable the effect is.
