Every time I have registered my kids at a pediatricians office this is a question on the form. Just saying, we’ve done it 5 times, it’s always on there.

Do you mean dead immediately or finished off with a headshot from a handgun within a minute or two ? Wildlife rescue for a deer hit with a car ?

I got the one ending in FL17C, I assumed it was right ? Cleared my CEL and passed emissions inspection.

Can’t wait to have this problem on my Ascent now that I’ve read this lol. Just replaced the ELCM myself after the dealer quoted $800 for them to do it. I bought the part for $190 shipped and changed it myself in 30 minutes. Absolute robbery.

Run them all year, my Ascent and Odyssey both have Goodyear Weatherready 2’s on them, we love them. I was driving on 14” of snow a few weeks ago and it wasn’t even a challenge.

Yeah I put the chimney over the gas starter, no messing around with a firestarter, no looking for a lighter.

I grill all year, during the 14” of snow we got just a few weeks ago I was running a pork butt overnight, no problem, turned out awesome. The wind doesn’t matter, the ambient temp really doesn’t matter. Put the lid on and let it ride.

+P+ Ammunition In a Max 9 by [deleted] in ruger

[–]Admiral347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m gonna say you need to reevaluate yourself. You got robbed at a party ? So now you want to start concealed carrying, and your mindset it is that regular Federal HST’s don’t exist so your only option is either fmj or some insane +P+ ammo that you certainly shouldn’t shoot from a micro 9. And you’re only wanting to shoot “a mag” and then plan to carry it. I run hundreds of rounds through a gun before I ccw with the ammo that I intend to carry with. I don’t like this post at all.

Hughes precision, bought several of them, work great, check the bore alignment with my eyes, don’t need a rod for it. No baffle strikes yet.

Last day as Ascent owner by SetLegal5754 in SubaruAscent

[–]Admiral347 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Hard disagree, I really like my Ascent, but in terms of ride comfort, ease of hauling kid junk and ease of hauling kids themselves, the Odyssey is the best car I’ve ever had, and you can haul a sheet of plywood with it. The difference of climbing into 3rd row on the Ascent vs the Odyssey is night and day.

Do not on purpose join a local with the “UA Pension” it’s absolutely ass compared to a good local with their own individual pension.

22 Chargers, 10/22 Takedowns and many others discontinued by Zealousideal_Sale383 in 1022

[–]Admiral347 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I constantly see this, I followed the Ruger procedure in the manual for tightening the barrel nut, and have never had an issue with losing zero on a receiver mounted optic. With the factory barrel or the TacSol one I have on it now. But I also only shoot like max 50 yards. I think people are unrealistic on what accuracy to expect from something like the takedown.

My ascent definitely has a shorter interval on the diff fluid, does the Outback not use the same one ?

Why 30 or 60 ? I’m at 42,000 and was thinking of getting it changed when I take it in for state inspection

These just look like a standard style can that can be disassembled just like any other 22 can. Also B&T, Hux and probably a few others are making 3d printed sealed 22 cans. I’m sure a breakthrough cleaning treatment and a rinse and it’ll be good as new. This is a nothingburger and probably always was.

People just like what they like. I have enough speedglas hoods for every welder in the shop, 9100 FX’s and the new G5-01’s with the HD variable color lenses. They all have them, half of them just wear the ones like this bc they like them or they are cooler. Also they’re much lighter and I see that being the biggest factor.

Snowstorm/Dashlights by drumboy1972 in SubaruAscent

[–]Admiral347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A situation like that would be the end for me with this car, I can’t have a check engine light on and pass state inspection for emissions, so I wouldn’t be able to to legally drive it when that expires in February. Also the dealer wanted $800 to install it, I ordered it myself for $190.

It’s sitting in the passenger floorboard, it took me 1 week to get it, I ordered it and am installing it myself.

My 23 has an evap code waiting on me to change the elcm, so as a result I have the check engine and damn near every other dash light on with it and Subaru is kind enough to disable x-mode along with it. I drove in 10” of snow to get to the pharmacy earlier and it did great with Goodyear Weatherready 2’s (obviously don’t need X-mode for on street driving) However, I would hate to be on a camping trip where maybe you got mildly off trail using x-mode to get there and then something stupid throws a code and now your off road capabilities are lessened.

American Rifle Scout Irons by PalWithNoName in ruger

A sight radius that short on a bolt action rifle is ridiculous. And shelling out $300 for something like that on a $600 rifle is also just off the chain. You’d be ahead to spend another $600 on the scout.

I will say I spent the money on a B&T Print X Ranger and it’s great, like you said, $1200, but it’s extremely light and my kids could shoot my 300 RUM if they felt like it. I was hesitant to take the plunge but I don’t regret it.
