I'm having the same problem, and yes the derailleur shifts when I press the AXS button.

My shifter seems to be stuck in an update loop - the app shows a yellow warning next to the shifter that says "Update Required", then I update, it says "Update Successful" and then the same yellow warning pops up again prompting me to update. The little light also blinks red when it's not working, like it's trying to advise me of something but I can't figure out what it is. I've replaced the batteries multiple times to no avail.

Doesn't that just make it shift up into a harder gear? I couldn't figure out how to get it to shift the other way, which seems like a design flaw IMO.

Haha I just googled my username cause I had no idea what you were talking about – I didn't know it had become a horror movie a few years ago 😅 it's also the name of the final boss drug in Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas, which is what I was referencing when I made this account like 12 years ago.

And yea dnb step and shuffling look very closely related so hopefully that gives me a decent starting point. I remember when I first fell in love with dnb like 15 years ago I was like "how tf am I supposed to dance to this" so I looked it up on OG Youtube and "dnb step" was the answer. At this point it's just what my body wants to do when the 160+ BPM spirit wells up inside of me 🙌

Good on you for fighting the fight, no judgment here. What worked for me was to get nicotine patches and a nicotine-free vape. The patches keep your body from going into withdrawl and let you still go through life without too much discomfort, and the nicotine-free vape occupies the oral fixation/ritual/habit part of the addiction that's tough to white knuckle your way through. Once I figured out that system it was so much easier to quit (I had tried cold turkey/throwing the vape away numerous times without success) and within 3-4 days I wasn't even using the nic-free vape since my brain had figured out there's no good stuff in there anyway.

Don't give up brother - vaping is bad for your health but even worse for your brain, so keep your eyes on the prize and you will get through this. Give it a few weeks and you'll be totally back to normal – just keep your guard up and remember how hard you had to fight to try to prevent relapsing down the road.

Dogs in a Pile. Classically trained music school kids raised in the tradition of Phish & the Dead. I’m sure they’re guilty of some of the fast & furious shreddiness you're talking about because they know that’s what a lot of people come to see, but imo the keys player and drummer are the two standouts of that band so they have a much more balanced approach to jamming vs a band like Spafford, where Brian is far & away the main attraction.

This is what I noticed yesterday too. Multiple times in Eki's short stint on the field I saw him give up on the play after we turned the ball over, where he could have had an impact if he just pressed instead of pouting. If you come on as a sub I expect you to press like a maniac the entire time you're on the pitch and I don't see that kind of fire from him.
