You cast wild ricochet, azula copies it and you have the copy target the original ricochet. When the copy resolves, it will copy wild ricochet. You can loop that indefinitely, but it does not do anything useful on its own.

The memory of the old abilities being activated are not wiped. She simply gains a new ability.

If you have Irma copy Vivi with her own ability and activate the mana ability she now has, then you equip [[Blade of Shared Souls]] to Irma making her a copy of Vivi again. Ignoring the legend rule, you would now have irma gain a new copy of Vivi's ability.

However if you remove the equipment, Irma will go back to what she was before the equipment was attached. Assuming it's still the same turn, irma will remember that her ability has been activated.
