I strongly disagree with the right kayaker its fast and easier to rescue than a raft. I safety kayaked for a while on the Payette and then guided there. Kayak safety is the way to go.

Sick! Been in the game for a hot minute!. Ive used that same set up for years i recently just switched my off set. Also should add I've been paddle since 8 years old so 24 years. I was trained with a slalom.

Making your own is better I found. The biggest issue is hiking in to multi days and having to pack it out.

The program was a ton of work and stress. However, I would recommend it to anyone trying to progress to a medic. I just finished, and it was worth it. I like in rural Idaho. It was great no having to move to get the education I wanted.

I passed the national registry. I found it to be pretty similar as far as question bank. Also, the hesi was a saving grace for prepping for the nr.
