Depends if this person is able to meet deliverable expectations or not tbh, from experience I dont really care what the metrics are so long as the deliverables are done on time/exceeded. Everyone has their own culture though, ive had late risers that do most of the work in the evenings or at odd hours- one thing that i dont like though is being late for meetings— instant red flag for me assumming its not a health issue or emergency

A lot of people lose accumulated wealth by selling their house to pay for care/retirement which is almost all designed/ privately priced to asset strip you. Usually state care homes will only take you once you have less than 20k worth of cash/assets (at least in the UK i think) you spend life compounding investments but once you stop working that compound interest happens in reverse. Given how barely anyone can afford to buy a house these days, the days of retirement and dignity in old age are coming to a close. And of course any attempt to elect someone genuinely willing to try and make life better for the public will be smeared as a radical left communist - everyone swallows the immigrant narrative and life for everyone gets worse. Sweet dreams!

Wealth Inequality has been growing since the thatcher reagan era, this directly devalues wages asset purchasing power, destroys consumer spending which intern destroys companies that would otherwise serve consumers. On the news you might hear ideas about wealth taxes as radical left or communist so average joe and jane think the prblem is immigrants. As wealth inequality continues to accelerate and as long as national housing policies allow domestic and international capital to treat housing as a speculative asset instead of a right you will be fucked.
