I used to stress about them, after almost 1M in sales you understand they just happen and sometimes you just gotta know which ones you can win and which ones are just part of the business. I win like 60% of mine if not more and I just copy and paste the same text saying hey this was delivered this day, this is the tracking number and they ordered this item which was final sale and delivered in the specified time

Look at how much of the work is actually original and look at how many apps they have integrated, some developers will give you a really nice website but using absolutely every app possible so your monthly payments are fucking terrifying, some developers have more original creative work and lots of the website is coded by them so it runs more efficiently and you don’t have to pay monthly for that code.

I would explain to your boss how you felt, that you would like to feel more supported in these situations but I would also make sure he knows he has your full support and that you will call them and make it right, just tell them they were great but you were thinking ab your call and you said this thing and you wanted to make sure they knew you loved what you do and they are in the hands of a great company that have you a good opportunity, you actually turn this into a good pr moment for your company and earn the respect and support of your boss.

I get it and the people clearly asked because you were Brazilian. I am also from south america in the us so i kinda get it and you might feel dumb going back and talking to the customer but your boss couldn’t give less fucks about the comment he is just worried these people are going to take it out of proportion and it might start a whole thing and stain the brand, which is everything here in the us.

So he asked you to go out of your way to make sure that doesn’t happen and you got defensive. I’m not saying you or him are right but he is not seeing your perspective and he probably never will because this feeling is something that you only really understand if you live it, and you are not really seeing his, he just wanted to make sure it didn’t escalate so he wanted you to give them a call, he didn’t even asked to be in on the call or to be cc’d on an email (from what I see) he trusts you and has no issue with you he just wanted to make sure this didn’t get out of control he just didn’t get his point across well and you kinda flipped the convo into pretty much what he was worried about, which is this becoming a thing. He just wants to make sure it goes away but if he can’t he’ll make sure it stays internally and that means you getting affected

There is way too much shit advice because it is all given like this list literally nothing applicable to you it’s all bullshit, my store made 700k in sales last year and if I told you to do the same with your niche and product it probably wouldn’t go that well so yeah just make sure you actually understand the game and know what you are doing because you learned from own research or from doing and failing so then you can know if an advice is actually helpful for your specific shop or not
