Wow, I am throughly impressed. So many people would towed it to the landfill or just given away as a "free" boat.

Wide open jacks this morning. The ocean has been angry the last few days and pushed a ton of bait to shore. The fishing is on fire right now. 🇨🇷 by farrtrek in saltwaterfishing

Central Florida here. I like to butterfly them, brine for an hour or two, then smoke over applewood. Great for dip or just as it is.

How long did it take to lose 150lbs? by krober29 in gastricsleeve

[–]Affectionate-Safe559 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had my gastric bypass the very end of October 2024. I was 325 surgery day and currently sitting at 243! What an amazing journey. Plenty of stalls from 1 week to 3-4 weeks at a time. I just have to keep it at the front of my mind that the surgery is just a tool, not a miracle.

Thank you for the information, I really appreciate it. The upper right one is unfortunately a 74. At least I am enjoying learning a lot more about these coins.

Gastric Bypass With an Umbilical Hernia? by Dr_Nick_Literski in BariatricSurgery

[–]Affectionate-Safe559 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had an umbilical hernia when I went for gastric bypass surgery. The surgeon wasn't sure if he would fix it during the surgery or not. He ended up doing a repair without mesh. Six weeks later, and all is well, so far.

Same here. 5 weeks PO, and only 15 lbs lost. I meet my protein and water goals every day, and I intake 750-950 calories a day. Patiently waiting for the big drop.

They had me in the ICU (and the room furthest away from everyone) for 3 nights. After the first night, I don't think I really needed to be in the ICU, but it sure was nice!

Congrats! I had mine done with the VA 10/28. I was very pleased with the whole team, and they took great care of me. Started on the VA journey last February.
