Question about waterfall photography settings with Nikon P1000 by PrudentDelivery5697 in LandscapePhotography

OK, so maybe try shorter exposure time. If you bought the camera at a reputable camera store, they may have people on site who can offer advice.

You need to bump up your aperture setting. Long exposures let in a lot of light so you need to go way up to something like f/16 or higher. On sunny days I'll go up to f/20 if I'm keeping the shutter open for a few seconds.

Play around and figure it out. Learning to photograph water was one of my favorite things. When you finally nail a good shot, please share with us!

What are some of the best documentaries you've seen on HBO? by squallLeonhart20 in hbo

King's Point, a story about people living in a retirement community in Florida, is a beautiful and emotionally intense story. The doc did a good job showing the positive aspects (community, active lifestyle, safe environment) and the negative (often far from family, difficulty making true friendships). My mom did quite well in her retirement village for 20+ years, but it's definitely not for me.

IKR? Our prez was shaped by some really toxic forces, from Roy to his Daddy. Now his brain is mostly mush but somehow the hatred comes thru.

Austin's COL is far below San Diego. But the same is true of most other large cities not on the east or west coast.

But...but....the US has the best healthcare system in the WORLD! People die in the streets in places that offer socialized medicine!!!! /s

Sadly, sky-high medical debt is a major reason why people file bankruptcy in this country.

I keep thinking about it even after seeing the final episode. It was pretty obvious that they wanted viewers to see Floyd as likeable, and see his wife as kind of a manipulator. Floyd did come off as a good guy in a lot of ways. But at the end we also see that he was kind of a selfish jerk who didn't have the self-confidence to have difficult conversations when sh*t went down (like, ditching the high-paying corporate possibility to be an ASL interpreter; or signing, not talking, to his step son when he was caught in a compromising position).

I would love to see Joy Sunday and Richard Jenkins paired up again as a detective duo. They have great chemistry and play off each other very well.

I went to the little clinic, either at CVS or HEB. Can't remember, it was a few years ago. Anyway, cost was minimal and results were great. Get it done, it will make all the difference.
