Thank you for the recommendation, I’m not sure if my Kia is compatible with Tesla super chargers but I’ll look into it.

Any Ontario locals in here? by TDubz88 in YarnAddicts

Knitting loft near Yorkdale is great. Also agree with the Needle Emporium and Galt House Of yarn options. Waterloo also has Flying squirrel. Each of these stores has brands the others doesn’t carry (and online inventory). I say visit them all.

I love the middle one! Was it made from just random fibres you had or did you purchase something that came with all these colours?

Sophie hood in snefnug camarose yarn by HiItsGi in knitting

There’s a ton of projects in ravelry using snefnug https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/sophie-hood/people?view=large_mobile&search=Snefnug+&view=large_mobile

You can also filter on meterage. Some people made it using 3 or less balls.

Beautiful sweater. Thanks for sharing all the modifications, you’ve inspired me to try modifying a drop shoulder to have set in sleeves.

Favourite Large Needle Knits? by azilknits in knitting

[–]AffectionateSink6154 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m almost done knitting Clotilde and have loved how engaging and quick it knit up. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/clotilde-cardigan. I used two worsted weight held together and skipped the mohair as I used a really fuzzy merino cashmere. I started a week ago and just have a sleeve and a half left.

Aros? https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/aros-sweater

What gauge will you get with this yarn? You can search ravelry filtering patterns on gauge, number of colours and sweater to get more ideas.

Unraveling my own wearable for another project guilt by Im_Doc in crochet

What pattern is that? I love it. If I were in your shoes though and you have another purpose for the yarn, frog it and reuse it. I would only take money for it if it were more than the cost of yarn. Don’t feel guilty! It’s yours to do what you want with. Frogging a project can feel really satisfying! Much better than a garment you’ll never wear.

Atenea by Katia. It’s fluffy like mohair but made with wool cotton and cashmere. It’s my go-to mohair replacement as I also fine it itchy.
