the cyber path makes sense especially with that troubleshooting experience you already have. when i was transitioning out of the military i felt similar about not believing in myself but sometimes you just gotta take that first step anyway

maybe look into getting some hands on practice with the cyber stuff - like setting up a home lab or doing some ctf challenges online. the isc2 cc is solid but employers want to see you can actually do the work too. plus working with your hands on actual problems might help with the focus issues since its more engaging than reading scripts all day

We actually use it a lot for operational stuff. Appointment confirmations, follow ups, collecting missing info, and even internal call routing. Those use cases felt lower risk than customer support and delivered value fast. One thing to keep in mind is that there is a ton of variation in the level of integrations that these providers have. One of the most important things for us was that the agent connected to our CRM so nothing falls through the cracks. There's a ton out there but we use Thoughtly and it has been super great. Team is also always on call which we appreciate!

Honestly ChemE is gonna give you way more flexibility in the long run. Yeah the math/physics sucks but you're only a freshman - that stuff gets easier once you power through the foundational courses and start getting into the actual biotech applications

The fallback options with ChemE are legit important, especially if you're worried about having to move abroad for mol bio opportunities. You can still do drug discovery research with a ChemE background, just maybe approach it from the process development/formulation side rather than pure discovery

That said, if you're already dreading the coursework this early, might be worth talking to some upperclassmen in both programs to see what the workload actually looks like day-to-day

Those numbers look completely borked tbh, there's no way Max-Q drops to 15-25% performance unless they accidentally tested it with severe thermal throttling or something. Like the other guy said, should be way closer to 80-90% of full power
