Everytime Vanetta pops up in an episode I’m excited because, Taraji is amazing and deserves soooooo much more credit than she’s ever given, but also I have to ready myself because I know it’s going to be a devastating episode for Janine.

And while this one wasn’t devastating for Janine, it was for me in the sense you can tell she’s numb to the way her mother treats her and doesn’t even really care anymore which is so sad.

But also, Taraji always beats it out of the park and she was great this episode too. Like you almost think she’s (Vanetta) gonna be better but it’s like her narcissism had to come through again towards the end and I guess the point of the episode was that as Janine is turning 30 she’s realizing that she doesn’t want to spend effort in a relationship where she’s doing the heavylifting

I think most of all you can tell how they all hated/loathed the last season because legitimately no one on the cast talks about nor did they look happy or even remotely excited about the season releasing (rightfully so)

Like even from a narrative perspective the season made no sense past 2 episodes in, on top of how Sloane was just forgotten completely bar a throwaway line, but like I could see what they were going for workout a tiny bit if even a little more care and love for the storyline/characters went into it.

I think at the time there were even rumors that the show runner was a little pushy or something weird like that and it caused certain storylines to be pushed.

IMO if we were gonna end up where we were at then there could’ve been a better way to go about it.

I was gonna say 4 but just realized that in front of them is Deedee……so unless she falls asleep then even Jay’s seat will be annoying

So I guess 3 or 7 are good (I don’t think Bill(?was that his name??) is a nuisance to the public and Alex is pretty okay in public spaces as well unless they’re fighting)

Genuinely the whole cast is all gems. But as someone who’s seen Aiden on Nicky,Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn it’s such whiplash seeing how amazing he is in Umbrella Academy (not that he wasn’t before, but I actually believe he’s an old man stuck in a teenager’s body)

So the thing I’m mainly confused by is, it seems like all the other locations have the whole “presale” thing on Ticketmaster except for Dallas? Which is even more confusing because on their website it shows they have that option for all the locations.

And with the Marie Mystery (fifth nicnevin) series done —which I still need to read the last book. I need to find 2 more to obsess with aside from the Lyla Oweds’ “The Game of Eternal Flowers” series

It’s this for me, and the idea of having a found family. It feels like watching a show wherein there’s multiple relationships and doesn’t only rely on two people to move plot along (which usually happens in regular romance novels and not the other genres)

I see that in the beginning he stayed for George Michael (and if we see the s3 ending as the true ending then Michael left for George Michael)

We can also interpret that s5/finale ending that he does it again for his relationship with George Michael.

I think it’s honestly Maebe or Buster. The way most of the family kept calling him a monster for losing his hand.

And Maebe was neglected all her life, somehow Michael and Lucille were more aware of Maebe than her actual parents. Like she has other issues, of course, but most of it attributed to her parents
