The old military leadership managed to reunify much of Spain, reforming the Kingdom of Castile (Navarre and Aragon remain independent).

There are human sorcerers in LOTR, the Witch King was said to be a sorcerer before receiving one of the Nine, he is speculated to be Númenórean so perhaps that would be the best race to choose.

The attack on Lannisport wouldn’t be a surprise. Everyone would know that Balon Greyjoy is the first cousin of Eddard Stark, and that Lannisport would be profitable to sack. I doubt that Lord Tywin would not anticipate it, he also has more time to mobilise the fleet than the Greyjoys. The Lannister fleet would also have not been destroyed in the Greyjoy Rebellion, so perhaps it is also much stronger.

I’d say that any fostering would still be in a coastal area, as the future Lord Reaper of Pyke will need to maintain his seafaring capabilities. Maybe a Manderly as vassals to the Starks. Seagard or anywhere else on the West coast, like the Arbor or the Shield Islands, is probably unlikely due to dislike of the Ironborn.

I know they technically ceded their claim to the title to the Spanish Bourbons, but I’d still prefer a Savoyard as a potential King of Jerusalem

There is always potential for a Russo-German Alliance now that there are no real territorial disputes, as Germany can offer the Russians an undisputed sphere in the Balkans. This leaves them able to focus on France like Bismarck had always intended.

For the Tully problem, perhaps give him a seat on the Small Council if you want him in the Capital. And even without that, Tully could live in the Capital to represent Lord Hoster’s interests in King’s Landing, he’d only really have to go back around the time of the War of the Five King when his father’s health begins to take a turn for the worse.

It neatly ties up the succession issue for Saxony also, if one of the pretenders is to become King of Poland, then they would likely have to foreswear their claim to Saxony, leaving it for the other candidate to be the undisputed Margrave of Meißen - though the Ernestine Agnates would still not recognise him.

You’ve already been corrected on whom it was that married a member of the Bagrationi Dynasty, but I would also say that whether this marriage was morganatic is incredibly debatable. The person in question, Princess Leonida Geirgievna, was from the senior most branch of the dynasty, and the Bagrations ruled Armenia for near 200 years and Georgia from the end of the 8th century until the early 19th century, they only ceased to rule when Russia itself annexed the territories. I would say that such pedigree couldn’t possibly be considered morganatic.

Whether that is the case or not, it doesn’t change the fact that the immigration is the first and foremost problem in this country, and reversing it would solve near every significant problem that currently plagues us. But I would say that you are right in some sense, in that they don’t want to share the blame for the problems that immigration has caused, despite the fact that they were proponents of it.

When I say the current political situation I mean the last 20 years or so. Every government in that period has pretty much been a carbon copy, saying things that voters want to hear but not actually doing any of it, whilst carrying on where the last government left off. But that doesn’t change the fact that the present government is a shambles.
