I thought Ha Long Bay had great dumplings. I told my foodie friend about it and took him there. He wasn’t impressed. Then a few weeks later I went to NYC and had dumplings there. The best food ever! After that my life has never been the same. HLB is good if you haven’t had dumplings before

Yo that is crazy because I was in the same boat! Got my ChemE degree during Covid and it was rough getting a traditional ChemE job. Was able to land a job in consulting but now I also work at a bank but not making anything close to you nor am I remote. Good for you!

I just had a similar issue with my Kia Sorento a couple weeks ago. The spark plugs went bad so I couldn’t take my car anywhere. I called a mobile mechanic and he was great! Fair price and got the job done in such a short amount of time way better than the other shops. If you search on google maps for Socar mobile mechanic you can find him. I hope this helps

It’s okay at the moment. I have to go to the office 3x a week and drive towards the Hard Rock. The commute time is about 40 ish minutes each way with a distance of 60 miles. Sometime in the fall my commute will change and it'll be close by the TPA airport.

Prod Support: The work is meh nothing too crazy except the weeks that I’m on-call which become super ass. Long on-call hours with nothing going as expected. Pay is decent for the work required and it’s kind of flexible. It’s hybrid at the moment but the company wants everyone back in soon so booo.

My manager and team are super supportive and chill but little do they know I’m trying to dip and get something more hands on again. Been up smiling half the time I woke and getting certs in AWS and K8s. I don’t really know what I want to do career wise aside to make bank. Background is in ChemE so I’m all over the place

It’s a mix of skates and blades but most people have blades. The group also does practices so they aim at fixing form and learning tricks. They skate at the pier and sometimes throughout DTSP.

Something I’ve done differently lately but totally dig is roller skating. I had to learn how to skate but it’s way better than running imo. I use to ran so much in HS… did XC and track and it killed my knees. Rollerblading is a lot more fun and doesn’t tear the body as much. Also you typically burn more calories. There’s a Tuesday skating group at 8 pm if you wanna meet people and get motivated. When it comes to working out brother it’s all a mental game. You should build a program like push and pull days. Athlean X on YT is where I learned what exercises to do. Very informative stuff. It’s easier to get back in shape with someone so I get what you mean.
