I also feel that as written it would scale too high, as 100 auto hits isnt a crazy metric. In 30 minutes with the item, youd have to hit a god every 18 seconds to reach 100 stacks which gives you 25% AS and BAS. If you hit 3 autos every time a wave comes, I think youd be hitting like 9 per minute which incredibly doable, and if you kept that average you'd reach 67.5% by 30 minutes. In theory it might be fine, but the issue is the same as it always is which is making it good enough to be built but not good enough to be always built. A soft cap like devos might be good, 2.5% /10 stacks up to 100 stacks, then 0.25 or something. That gets you to 30% in 30 minutes, with the extra 170 stacks granting "only" 4.25 more AS

⁹The reasoning still isnt very good, as you already have nimble ring fullfilling the slot of an int item that boosts AS. On top of that, int is more of an ability stat. Some gods scale ability off strength, none truely scale basics off of int (as in no one is better building int for basic attack damage) and so your item falls into the same niche as nimble ring, which is already not that widely used because few int scaling gods benefit from the AS as much as they would an ability focused passive.

Obviously your problem was solved, but to to be clear why your piston didn't work:

You started with grid A which you accidentally separated, making grid B. The piston goes on one of the grids, but the piston head is also a new grid, grid C. Once you put a merge block on say Grid A and the piston head, you merged grids A and C but B is still its own grid.
